Hope Barega can recover, his surging costs a lot in this heat - can't understand why he just can run tactically sane as he'd be gold favourite.
Yep, that was really stupid. Probably one of the top 3-5 most talented people in history and can't seem to quite figure out tactics or positioning yet.
Agree 100%
The pace is so slow.
Can't see Chepetegei winning that.
Kiplim or Kejelcha are now favourite if Barega doesn't recover.
Was that Wanders dropping!?

yeah. in 2017 and earlier, it'd be easy to know who was going to win. but who is the best kicker remaining? i'd say kejelcha with his 1500/3000 chops, but Cheptegei did outkick him in 2019, so we'll see.
No, Sam Akin
More poor coverage by the NBC channels.

Hahaha +1 It's actually a miracle that Kiprop still managed to win as much as he did with his tactics.
If it stays slow the north americans stocks rise.
Kincaid not wearing arm sleeves. What was he thinking? Not going to be top 15.

does ahmed have a kick? woody definitely does, grant is OK but not spectacular.
Klecker off the back.
lol kipruto has massive balls, even if he's not in form this year. back to how it was in 2019 with rhonex and cheptegei up front
Wow, Kissa off the track. So this really was a true pacemaking / sacrifice job, he looks fine otherwise
Klecker is struggling
Kissa done, maybe not for naught. He did get Barega to surge hard earlier.
Ahmed most definitely can kick.
Only 67s laps, that's not a big pace change.
BBC delayed coverage wtf

Kiprop had the doping hubris and that certainly contributed to his racing tactics. Mo Farah comes to mind too. Straight to the back as he knows he's too juiced to lose.
