and the perp black... 'the suspect was captured and restrained

The klan with the badge would not be saying...'oh he had a bad day'.

I tend to wait a bit before jumping to conclusions. The guy says it was not racially motivated (whites were also victims). Maybe there is evidence somewhere of him spouting anti-Asian things on social media. If that is the case, then I will adjust my take. (As of this moment, there appears to be no evidence and the Washington Post is calling for folks to tap the brakes).

Even with that, I have an issue with "hate crimes" in general. We should all be equal under the law, but in hate crime cases one can be punished more harshly which seems to go against that idea.

You should find the entire clip of the officer making that statement. I have watched the entire section where he speaks. It is clear that he is reporting what the suspect told them. The officer was not being sympathetic to the accused at all.

Yep, especially when the majority of crimes against Asians are not not by whites, so when one happens it needs to take center stage and get 24/7 news coverage with non-stop projecting of what happened.

I'll tell you what, kid... since you're trying so hard, research Asian Massage Parlors, and also research the same name with 'bust'. Look at who a lot these owners are. These places are in many large cities all over the country. Many of them are dens of human trafficking too. They rotate younger women through them.
