The data collection tool may be different. Maybe the Drone vs Garmin can be compared. Hopefully, Mimi uploads Garmin data to Strava later today. I don't know how someone would know what the source was.

It is 7 pm where she is now. Daylight has gone to sleep. She is running down a highway with wide shoulders which is somewhat safer for night running.
She should consider stopping soon. She is within a few km of a Sonic food stop with a travel stop that allows overnight parking. Her run would be about 55 miles for the day.
It's only a little after 6:30 so she should still be ok.
Where are the people who say she hasn't slowed down?

It is 7:52 pm in Missouri and Mimi is still rolling down the highway. She seems obsessed with the mileage run. She is 10 km from the next town, and nothing but farm homes until then.
There is an RV park 5.2 miles (8.4 km) from where Mimi currently is. More than an hour of running to get there.

Usually only towards the end of the run. People joining you are a much welcome break. Markus might be willing to share give some of his experiences with conquering the mental side after weeks for running with no end in sight.
You don't think further than the current day. I refused to think further than that. That made it easier for me. Just one day at the time. In the evening I was just glad I was done, especially after long 45-50 mile days in 13-15 hours with dangerous traffic and 110 F heat in Oklahoma.
In the morning I start thinking about the next stage when I had the new turnsheet in my hands. Not a second earlier.
If you have giant blisters under your forefoot, you don't want to think about these 2000 miles ahead of you. Believe me. You are happy if you make it to the next stop of your crew. That's far enough.

Her average for that week is 13:36 per mile (check my math). Today's morning run was 4.16 mph or 14:25 per mile and this afternoon she's at 3.70 mph or 16:13 per mile. She has slowed but it could just be a temporary blip.
OMG she has slowed 49 seconds per mile over the course of a few weeks of 50-60 miles per day! Must be a scam! And if she slows 70 seconds on a particular run, it's "All over Rover!"
There is this thing called, oh what is it, oh yeah: "fatigue". It is a characteristic of humans. You might look it up.
Conflating 13 with 14-minute miles (which may prove not to be the case anyway, it is only Thursday) and "11.5 vs. 15 minute miles" is the out-and-out bullcrap. If she had been averaging 11s and now was doing 15s, yeah, I would wonder what's up.

We will know tomorrow. She stopped in a dirt parking lot belonging to a business names Winfield Solutions.
She needs to backtrack to a point about 2 km from the ride start.
For the record, I consider her lack of documentation as voiding any official record, but she is allowed to slow down withing human limits (not including Pete K in this consideration, the dude has alien DNA or something).
