You can go deep with multis if your goal is to win conference, because they can compete in several events to get the team title. The D1 national team title cannot be won with multis.

Doug Brown did it in the early 90's, of course he also had Todd W. as back up. But he did have 3 high point deca's score a ton of points at the meet.

Petros of course utilized multi's points in both of his titles at Georgia.

It can be done if you get the formula right.

He won the natty but never made a run at the SEC

In the high level conferences it's going to be tough to get Dec dudes to score in the SEC for example. They usually don't run 46 in the 400 etc. That's why they do the Dec

Can confirm Loyola-New Orleans requires a female, preferably black. Males regardless of race will be denied by AD.
