The problem with the Musk X post is that it implies the holocaust was due to the evil of public workers and Hitler bore no responsibility. That coupled with a lot of other things Musk has said, posted, and a recent salute are a consistent pattern. Surely you can admit that even if you support him for whatever reason.
A rational person who is not a racist or antisemitic would immediately issue a retraction and apology for something like this when called on it and be careful with their language going forward. Musk has not and likely will not. Again, this shows a pattern. Trump supporting him also shows a pattern of, at best, ignoring obvious racism. He himself often doubles down when called of racist remarks.
While I don't believe every maga is a racist. It is clear that many are willing to ignore these patterns. And some, such as yourself, go to great lengths to defend them.
