So now the coronavirus has killed more Americans than the flu according to the CDC, something I admit, I did not think would happen, So gloat, cheer or whatever it is that you do, but this still doesn't change anything. No one panicked over the 61,000 flu deaths and here we are, still in lockdown, with people out of work and media still pushing fear and panic at 61,112 coronavirus deaths. Most are coming to realize that the lockdown was not warranted, is dangerous and did little to change the natural ebb and flow of the virus. Millions were never going to die, as proven by what we now know the mortality rate to be. Panic making of ventilators, hoarding food and toilet paper and refrigeration trucks waiting for the dead are all overreactions to something that just now caught up to the flu. I may not have hit the Olympic standard, but I certainly hit the World standard and still won the race - by a mile!
Have fun posting 61,001 on my posts, it's just a reminder of how much free time you have to waste saying and doing nothing. More antibody studies to come and more evidence that the reaction to COVID was reckless and misguided.
So now I will admit that the coronavirus IS as deadly as the flu, so everyone should run and hide immediately!
You were very wrong in your understanding of covid 19 and it's danger.
You were not alone in your faulty belief but this reality check on you and others who thought like you is important. And it's not to gloat.
We have a real problem in this country regarding truth and reality. People will believe some very unreliable sources and disregard valid scientific and medical opinions and well sourced media out of some political bias.
The thing that disturbs me the most, is that they become certain of their wrong headed ideas. They won't critically question their own beliefs. We had a thread on this site where all these people were posting in and declaring that the media loves all these deaths. They really were certain that they knew what all the media was feeling and they basically thought they were monsters. That's crazy thinking.
Trump has told countless lies but many just accept what he says. Lying seems to be OK with many and this is dangerous for our country.
There has been much bad information about corona that is dangerous. You cherry picked research and were so certain in your beliefs, but there are millions just like you. That is sad. People need to respect the option of medical and scientific experts and maybe question their own ideas a bit more.
There is much I do not know, but I'm sure as he'll not going state as facts, things I can't be sure about.

Everyone has not been wearing masks for a month. I don’t know where you live but I see very few people wearing them including the President and Vice President. Everyone has not been avoiding humans either. There are people all over the place in lines in stores in parks. Are you blind? Studies show the virus was here much longer than an month. First person died in California in Early February which means it was here in January. It’s widespread based on antibody testing. Cuomo said the horse was already out the barn before the lockdown. You don’t know what you are talking about and are spreading misinformation and a denier of the truth.

What happened was exactly what was predicted by me and many others to happen as a result of the lockdowns.
The suicide fatality rate has gone up quite a bit too.

Use some common sense. No job, no money, no food, depression, suicide, domestic abuse, drug abuse, alcohol abuse, child abuse. Do you need a model projecting 2.2 million could die of the shut down for you to have get concerned about all the problems it is creating?

You are going to always have people dying, it's a fact of life. You CAN NOT shelter everyone from death. Life has risks.
