yeah the fact trump is not a fluke is exactly why europe is cancelling defense contracts...they have to look at this country as fundamentally changed and not dependable anymore as a bulwark of Western civ.

Europe taking an active interest in its own defense would have been a good thing 30 years ago.
Today it just means the caliphate will be better armed when the migrants take over.

Regarding Putin, for years outside observers (myself included) have wondered “why don’t the citizens do something”? It made no sense that a corrupt autocrat could grab hold of the government and country with seemingly little resistance. And then when the invasion started people assumed the Russian citizens would hit the streets as their boys came back in body bags by the thousands over an immoral 3 day war. But the opposite proved true. War is essential for an autocrat to hold onto power. Putin knows this. And that is why he wants this war to continue.
Today people are asking why don’t Americans do something as they charge towards autocracy? Are you surprised that Trump (like Putin) has begin saber rattling for future military actions against innocent friendly neighbors?

Don Jr and Vanessa's daughter Kai Trump goes to high school with Charlie Woods (the Benjamin School in Palm Beach which costs @ $40k a year for HS and has a crazy golf program). That is just really, really, really weird.

I guess that it might be yet another "line" that we'll find out about? And at the moment, perhaps Panama looks the most likely. And if it is, we will "fail" that line. Very few Americans will really care if we throw our weight around in Panama. Ditto, unfortunately, a lot of other places in this world.
PERHAPS Canada is a real line.....but we should be VERY used to be being disappointed ("surprised!"), by now.
