^ definitely interviewing, Caryl and Petros will be offered salary raises for winning titles and getting courted by UT. Don't know if Edrick would leave Kentucky.

Since the athletic department knows nothing about track or xc, it's easier to just hire someone who is already around and has a decent resume. Anything is an upgrade over assistant baseball coaches in their eyes

Someone who understands they won’t get any scholarship to work with, will be paid peanuts & realizes their job is to get 5 kids across 6 finish lines in the fall. Someone who understands it’s a 2-3 year stepping stone on to a job they may not be pulling their hair out at. At least the job doesn’t have to “check the usual boxes” since they’ve already checked those. All you mid-20-something white guys who’ve been volunteering for 3 years & know you’re the next big thing...GO!
