Th first Jack Reacher novel is "Killing Flloor" that is an old Howlin' Wolf tune.
So Reacher is just wandering around and decides to head into Georgia to see what he can find out about a old blues cat from the 20's named Blind Blake. How did he die (was once a mystery) well here is Blind Blake.
Above that post war, this is done by decades.....40's 50s 60's.
Ove there.....white man blues/Appalacia/early hillbillie.
Talking records, tapes and CD's.
Could find what I want in the dark.
Back there, early rock, oldies, Doowop. Above that country music and above that later rock/alternative/whatever.
Very realistic to say around 10.000 records/tapes/CD's combined.
A huge book shelf out in the middle of all that housing my books on music.
Started building that world back in Junior High, that was a long time ago.
Always had this fantasy about hosting my own radio show, called The Nite Owl, since it started at midnight to 4am. Have 4 song sets with some theme, then a couple minutes of talk about what was just heard. a little history. i could go 10 years and never play the same song twice. Own a lot of music.
Chicago Blues, Prison, Rain, Delta Blues, Sun Records, MoTown, Ride the Rails, Alabama Blues, Broke & Lonesome, Came From Texas, Covers, Early Jazz, Haunting and on and on,,......

There's nothing more pathetic than a fat loser in California hiding under his quilt talking about Mississippi blues when he's never been to Mississippi.
