No, I would say that was spot on if thats a recent 5k time you have ran. All depends on how it feels though too, you should know whether it feels too hard or not by the 3rd rep.

OK, I'm going to post here and risk the wrath. But I just cannot work out how this method works. It doesn't seem to make sense. Two guys I usually race against locally, have jumped into this and suddenly beating me. Their training is on Strava so I have to take it on face value it's representative of what they are doing - but I've shown it to coaches I respect who all say it lacks quality or the kind of thing you need for 1500-5k.

No, but assuming you're well rested and conditions are favorable, that should feel pretty easy.
