Is Darren going to start riding again today? It is about 10 a.m. central time and no sign of moving yet.
When he stopped on Friday (6-16) he was at a restaurant. His tracking later showed a straight line east "as the crow flies". The line is just short of 17 miles long. In the long run that line doesn't really get him much closer to his goal, but it makes me wonder where he will start his next ride. Will it be back at the restaurant? Or will he start from where they are staying? Either way, the integrity of the tracking data is compromised. Also, he often invites people to come and ride with him. When are you starting? Today? Tomorrow? What time? From where?
If one is claiming to self propel themselves across the country, one should be a little more transparent during the trek.
Let's offer Kavinoky a deal. Since he is all healed up like he said in his Higi video from a month ago, if Kavinoky can run 3 days of 40-50 miles each before he reaches New York, like he claimed on CNN, then we will stop this thread and stop following him. I think this is a very fair deal. Wouldn't want Kavinoky to be exposed as a fraud, now would we?
