This is great 1-5 look really strong. holmdel times are great
Barrett: 8:43
…and they have 5 other guys who can probably go sub 9 right now
Um no. Jack Falkowski went 15:42 at group champs and didnt break 9. Closest last year was Kemp and Clifford who ran 9:06. They definitely do not have 6 people who could break 9.
Just wanted to point out that downers grove casual beats York 1999 team time (by 10 seconds) at Detweiler in the mud and a longer course. So let's see how this better version of york reincarnated does at nxr / nxn. Yep past teams are overrated. Fastest teams are here and now. I said it before and I will say it again.

Maybe you are right, however at the Bowdoin Park Classic, Barrett won in 15:25
In 5th was Hnatt 16:01
He was ahead of Ryan Sykes (6th in 16:03). Ryan ran 9:04 as a freshman last year. He is probably in sub 9 shape right now. Also, Vernon, an 8:50 guy was only 10s ahead of Hnatt.
In 7th was R. Schmitt 16:05
in 8th was Mastroly 16:08
In 12th was R Schmitt 16:20
in 14th was Collins 16:22
Is Hnatt is sub 9 shape? Most probably. Is R. Schmitt in sub 9 shape? Perhaps. Mastroly? Maybe.
I agree that it’s not a sure thing.
The last 2 is more unlikely. But maybe.
Also, J. Falkowski. He was 2nd in 15:40 at NB coach invite. 15s ahead of A. Keith (a 8:57 guy)…
Cba biggest hater. These kids r great. Stop putting them down while they continue to prove themselves
I think they are great. Not as good as Herriman but they can definitely win Nationals. I am excited to see how they will do with a longer rest between NXR and Nationals. I just dont think they are going to be the first team with 6 guys sub 9. I don't think Herriman does either.

I think they probably have 3-4(same as AF last year) but not 5-6.

The record number of sub 9 by one school is 5 by NP in 2022. Right?

Herriman had 3 sub 9s last year - Steadman - 8:48c, Beckstrom - 8:56c, Hofheins - 8:52c
American Fork had 4 sub 9s - Simmons - 8:34, Jaster - 8:38, Evans - 8:44, bradshaw - 8:58
I think it’s almost a lock for CBA winning and Ridgefield taking the 2nd spot. No at larges in a region that has long needed to be merged with NY…
If anyone follows or believes in speed ratings, CBA will probably put 4 in front of Ridgefield’s 2 but no one else in the northeast is touching Ridgefield, fastest CT team ever.

Yeah it’s now showing that Ridgefield is the second best team in the Northeast. Although some people thought that Haddonfield Memorial NJ or State College PA could beat them. They didn’t do very well at Great American, but they were missing their #2 guy who didn’t race until the state meet.
They started racing late, but it seems to be working for them
