Tabarie Henry will join the UNLV Track & Field/Cross Country coaching staff as the assistant coach in charge of Sprints, Hurdles and Relays, Head Coach of Track
Does Ross take anyone from NC A&T with him? Does anyone from SIU goes with Joseph to Ohio State? Any word if Carl is going with Leroy? Still no word on SFA, North Texas, Georgia Southern, I guess ORU as well. What is the deal at Western Kentucky?
Ross and his former NC A&T staff? Joseph most likely isn't taking anyone to OSU. In the statement about Burrell to Auburn, it didn't seem like Carl Lewis is going to Auburn. SFA? North Texas? Georgia Southern hired David Neville from Tennessee. Oral Roberts....a mess.
WILLIMANTIC, Conn. – Eastern Connecticut State University Alumni Hall of Famer and former All-America athlete David Nicholson '06 has been appointed as the fifth
How much do college T&F, XC or assistants make in 2022?
For the Oregon, Arkansas, Florida, etc types are their salaries public?
At the Power 5? mid Majors?
D2 or D3?
Are some college coaches volunteers?
Anywhere from 30k-120k
Wide range but accurate… yes, you can find almost any public school salary… some of the big time programs will pay their top assistants well and the lower level or ops people will be low (they are lucky to get the experience).
So all the rumors about Oregon, the other thread dedicated to Robert Johnson not being renewed, the other thread about Safesport allegations, and a few news articles questioning why they did so poorly was allllllll for nothing? Lol
The word was he wouldn’t be renewed but now all of that chatter just went away without any real info on what happened. Most schools announce when a coach is renewing a contract, resigning, or getting fired.

Oregon = nothing
Because they don’t have his replacement finalized yet. A program like Oregon doesn’t want an appearance of uncertainty, or people may hit the portal or decommit. They’re going to announce that he hasn’t been renewed, and then within a day they’ll announce the new hiring.
Seems like the nature of mid majors. Just a pit stop for experience and then move on. Although often enough many end up leaving coaching altogether. These assistants aren’t making anywhere near what the power 5 schools are paying. What does an MVC school assistant make, 35k?
