Yeah, you're right. The Idaho guy took over WSU, a low end program. So maybe you should feel lucky you even did that well in the coaching search. You male alums live in fantasy land.

That can't be the reason. The school I attended went through 5 assistant coaches for guys' distance and 4 for girls' distance just in the 4 years I was there, and the head coach wasn't concerned about it.
I'm not going to try to speculate because I've never met the man in my life, but after his success it'd be crazy for him to leave!
