the difference is that this correction is just so completely stupid and government made. It's ONLY happening because Trump feels in his bones tariffs will make us all rich. It's not because of the economy or another nation. It's just because of our mad king's late night delusions.
But sure, a few more days of this and big money america will organize an intervention and tell trump he needs to cool it or you know it's a nice presidency, would be a shame if anything happened to it.

My guess is that next week or the week after that DJT will declare victory in one of the made-up national emergencies he's declared to seize power, and things will start getting back to normal.

Agree with all but the last paragraph. Chaos and pain for the people are the plan, not a side effect. Trump will placate the billionaires short term, assuring them the government is being fully rigged for them to steal whatever they want without any chance of being held to the law. They will support it. The people will be screwed.
Why would our Country allow another Country to supply us with electricity, even for a small area? Who made these decisions, and why? And can you imagine Canada stooping so low as to use ELECTRICITY, that so affects the life of innocent people, as a bargaining chip and threat? They will pay a financial price for this so big that it will be read about in History Books for many years to come!
