You could well be correct. Apparently, the end game was hoping to get a gig as a motivational speaker for WWTW. Going by the school video, though, I can't see that that would have ever come about, even if LeJog had been successful.

There is just a lot of weird stuff going on with this thing. I still say that if all the other parties outside of DR/TR are innocent, then the real story will come out in the next week or so. If not, then it starts to look bad for everybody that was caught up in this mess.

But then surely you would expect that if they are more than likely innocent of wholescale involvement then one or both of them would of broke silence and provided some clarity about what happened? Or does DW in some way have a hold over them which would make this difficult for them to do? You have to admit if either of them posted a true account of events it would certainly clear up a lot of speculation and the like.
I am also assuming that Joe was a friend of Neil's prior to knowing DR from what I can tell. I would expect Neil to step forward at some point to defend his friends (Chas, Martin, Joe) before they get dragged through the mud. Maybe he is waiting until the mainstream media picks this up.
You have to remember that Mark and Joe were friends with the Readings long before these events ever happened so they may not want to speak publicly to bad mouth a friend.
