Stefanopoulos won CCS DII in a tight battle with Berhan. Los Altos won DII title as predicted. Surprisingly enough, Juniperro Serra is the runner up team- we’re not on my radar. In SJS, Isaac Abbott is the individual champion with Jesuit’s scoring 5 being in the top 15, and their top 4 being in the top 5. Clear team title to Jesuit.
She's probably trying not to burn past her peak the way she did last year by saving her energy for NXN, Foot Locker, or both (she was hoping to do both last year but was wiped after NXN and a month of racing) She only needed to be top 5, so by the looks of things she just ran with the second-fastest Ventura girl
I'm curious where Melanie True and Tiffany Sax were
Against guys like Totenson, Kitchen, and Powell- I’m not entirely sure but he’s got potential. He definitely does have potential to be #1 in Cali.
Broen Holman almost beat both Tostenson and Kitchen at Clovis. So if Eli Fitchen-Young beats Broen Holman at the State meet, it will be able to give us an idea of where Eli stands in fitness in relation to the Crater runners.
Holman ran 15:10 today…he is in sub 14:40 shape at woodward for sure maybe faster. Abbott went 15:30 for jesuit and then 15:45s for there 2-4 and there normal 7th man Cressman was their 5th with a 16:20. That is around a 76:40 team time for them at woodward without their usual 5. This Jesuit team is really good and 1-4 all come back for them. I am a coach in the section and this was really impressive from these guys today.
