"The petition seeking Flynn’s testimony cites a Newsmax interview from December 2020 in which Flynn said Trump “could order — within swing states if he wanted to — he could take military capabilities and he could place them in those states and basically re-run an election in each of the states.” The filing also notes that Flynn met with Trump, lawyer Sidney Powell and others “known to be associated with the Trump campaign” at the White House on Dec. 18, 2020.
According to the filing, the meeting “focused on topics including invoking martial law, seizing voting machines, and appointing Powell as special counsel to investigate the 2020 election.”

New evidence to show Trump was warned of violence on Jan. 6

The Jan. 6 committee plans to present evidence corroborating former White House aide Cassidy Hutchinson's testimony that President Donald Trump was briefed on brewing violence that day, yet sought to stoke the conflict.

all his lawyers, Barr etc, told Trump he lost and that any story of Dominion voting machines switching votes was crazy. Barr told him that. Barr told him that stories of 'vote dumps' etc were completely unfounded. Suitcases of ballots -- they told him it was unfounded and wrong. Trump continued to tell those lies to the public.

On phone call, Raffensberger told him he lost Georgia. Trump threatened Raffensberger with prosecution.

Trump has got to be convicted related to his attempts to steal the election. This is not just a crime of Jan 2021 and Trump's Big Lie. All the mini-trumps are working on new strategies to steal future elections. Must vote them out, must enforce Rule of Law, no kings.

Maybe they do it, maybe they keep Trump out of political activities forever or even the ultimate Dem wet dream "behind bars" but it won't serve the Dem party like they think.

It's their only play right now. They are desperate to hold onto power and they have nothing to show for the two years they have held complete control of the US government other than a crumbling economy, rampant crime, staggering inflation, a global war, and a myriad of other issues. They passed a lot of legislation, mostly along party lines, and the result has been the collapse of the stock market, the loss of your spending power, a global war and now the collapse of the housing market and the beginnings of stagflation.

So predictable ... they do nothing for 3 months and re-commence the hearings right before the mid-terms.

At least the DOJ has the decency to abide by the unofficial 90-day window to avoid influencing an election (we have to remember that in the legal system there is a presumption of innocence, and it is up to prosecutors to prove someone guilty). The partisan clowns in congress have no such reservations and only seek to hold onto power. As others have noted, individuals putting on this kangaroo court have already expressed their pre-determined conclusion.
