What makes this a fake war? The fact that the Russian military is a complete joke?
Russia is going to win, Why can't everyone see Putin is the Good Guy in this Conflict? Put own Politicians have been caught lying to the American People and doing the opposite of what they said they would do in the Campaign. Putin was the one who put the Great Ramzan Kadyrov in power, and we all agree Kadyrov is a Great Man, Not afraid to go against The LGBTQ Ideology like USA politicians are, And Putin and Kadyrov are LESS against White People then even AOC, He does not hate the Main Group in Russia like MOST USA politicians hate the Main Group in the USA
You're not going to let Cece out crazy you, I see.
Putin really can't figure out he is never going to rule Ukraine the west simply won't allow it. So why is he still sending in Russians to be killed for no reason at all?
Russia is going to really take a beating and they should.
YIKES! A faked homeless person photo. The giveaway is clean and unstained American flag blanket. That person was given that flag to wear and is fake sleeping there for as long as it took to take the photo.

How is sending billions to Ukraine helping average americans?
By providing entertainment in the form of watching you whine about it
Here's a good little documentary video on the early days and weeks of the war. Goes into very good detail on units involved on both sides and how the defense of Kiev played out. Worth the time watching.

Crying won't help you avoid conceding the point. Answers to this question thus far:
~ it helps shareholders of MIC companies
~ buying new weapons to replace donated ones saves average americans storage costs for the donated weapons (yes, someone actually said this)
The entertainment is watching americans struggle without knowing why. Think about that the next time you avoid getting treatment because you need to skimp on paying your annual deductible.

No kidding...Putin & his military aides are as dumb as a rock. You'd think he would be aware of Russia's history of unsuccessfully invading countries. He must have forgotten the horrible beating the Soviet Union took when Stalin invaded Finland in 1939 in the First Soviet-Finnish War.
There Stalin literally got his butt kicked losing around 167,000 killed or missing & a total casualty number between 321,000 - 381,000! They also lost over 3,000 tanks & artillery pieces. OTOH, the dinky country of Finland, outnumbered something like 10-1, lost only 27,000 killed/missing for total of 75,000 causalities.
The 3 month war was a total embarrassment & humiliation of the Soviet war machine forcing a withdrawal by Stalin & the signing of the Moscow Peace Treaty.
The Winter War, also known as the First Soviet-Finnish War, was a war between the Soviet Union and Finland. The war began with a Soviet invasion of Finland on 30 November 1939, three months after the outbreak of World War II,...
The Soviets eventually won the Winter War of 1939-40. But not before a heroic and unexpected Finnish stand created a legend and allowed the country to retain its independence and democracy.
Though the Ukraine-Russia war has been going on for almost a year (hard to believe it's been that long), the circumstances are very similar to Finnish-Soviet War, i.e. Russia is getting slaughtered on the battle field by much smaller country. Lol.
Seriously, is there any intelligent life in Putin? Is this the King of all idiots? Sacrificing tens of thousands of Russian young men to be slaughtered for a war he can't win. Maybe a Finnish war historian could enlighten Putin of Finnish-Soviet war.
How much longer are the Russia people going to put up with this idiot? What an embarrassment the country of Russia is right now.
Zelensky's now-former aid and advisor Oleksii Arestovych:
"We are a part of a story, that is not being written by us anymore. Kyiv has missed a chance on beating Russia and has become a tool for other players."
NATO said no many decades ago. Members said no expansion east, past the Elbe river. Most of Sweden is further East that that:
The key text in the minutes from the meeting quotes US Assistant Secretary of State for Europe and Canada Raymond Seitz saying: “We made it clear to the Soviet Union, in the 2+4 talks, as well as in other negotiations that we do not intend to benefit from the withdrawal of Soviet troops from Eastern Europe,”
“NATO should not expand to the east, either officially or unofficially.”
A British representative also mentions the existence of a “general agreement” that membership of NATO for eastern European countries is “unacceptable.”
West German diplomat Juergen Hrobog said of the 1991 agreement: “We had made it clear during the 2+4 negotiations that we would not extend NATO beyond the Elbe. We could not therefore offer Poland and others membership in NATO.”
As americans, we don't care about these people. We care about americans. We don't care about these people, like we never cared about these 20-30 million people we killed abroad:
“Wars”
Korea Vietnam (based on lies) Iraq 1 Iraq 2 (based on lies) Pakistan Afghanistan
Others killed by american “interventions” (terrorism for profit) via bomb attacks, sabotage, attempted regime change
Oh look! Cecci posting the same made up numbers. I calculated the number of people killed by Russia / the Soviet Union using the same “rigorous” method that your source did (I almost broke my crayon!) and found that Russia has killed 482 million people globally since WW2 ended.
You should go live there if you support them so much… just take a raft up to the Kuril Islands.

This nonsense again. Please pay attention and try to remedy your ignorance.
The U.S. spends trillions over the space of decades to train soldiers and purchase equipment just in the off chance we might need to use it against Russia. Now for a tiny fraction of that price, we can send money and equipment that we 100% know will go toward obliterating the Russian army. In a few years, we might spend a total of $200 billion, a fraction of even just one year's defense budget, to vastly weaken the Russian army and keep it out of our hair for decades to come. Maybe the whole Russian state will collapse if we're lucky, and it will be their own damn fault for starting a stupid war and stubbornly pursuing it long after it became clear it was a lost cause.
The payoff: We can benefit from a vastly reduced defense budget like the post-Cold War peace dividend we enjoyed in the 1990s and/or shift defense resources toward other strategic objectives, like China. Prosperity and global peace is very good for the average American, it turns out.
There, that answers your question. Now please do shut up about it since you now know the answer.

So you think US Military budget will then decline from $800 billion per year, since there will be no threat coming from Russia?
There is literally zero pros for an average American, except for entertainment, which is kind of sick.

Europe should be paying the lion's share of the cost for this European war. Until they do we shouldn't give Ukraine another dime.

You have not given one example how average americans benefit from losing billions. You confirmed wealthy americans benefit:
"post cold war peace dividend" Correct, shareholders of the MIC companies are payed out in dividends if not re-invested.
Top shareholders of one industry aren't average americans, doofus.
Also, shifting waste to waste hasn't helped average americans.
See: america right now
We shifted Iraq waste, to Afghanistan waste, to Iraq waste, more Afghanistan waste, to Syria waste, to Ukraine waste.
Things are worse in america for average americans as a result of your waste shifting delusion.
"post cold war peace" = wars and terrorism per usual:
wars:
Iraq 1 Iraq 2 (based on lies) Pakistan Afghanistan
Others killed by american “interventions” (terrorism for profit) via bomb attacks, sabotage, attempted regime change
Military expenditures data from SIPRI are derived from the NATO definition, which includes all current and capital expenditures on the armed forces, including peacekeeping forces; defense ministries and other government agenc...
But I did add your answer (in bold) to the list of failed answers:
"How does billions sent to Ukraine help average americans in america?"
answers thus far:
~ it helps shareholders of MIC companies
~ buying new weapons to replace donated ones saves average americans storage costs for the donated weapons (yes, someone actually said this)
~ shifting waste from one failed military venture to another will reduce the defense budget, as historically has never happened (yes, someone actually said this)
Now, I would like to sell you one coffee cup for $1,200, for your failed answer on waste, because it's from the pentagon!
Throwback Thursday! In 2018, the U.S. Air Force admitted to spending up to $1,280 per cup to keep coffee hot for their fighter pilots. It was the $1,300 hot-coffee cup scandal. In 2016, Travis Air For
