Putting that forward bespeaks an ignorance of 63(12), which is the key statute here and establishes the "victim" and "complainant" and "injury."
The trier of fact (the judge) has already ruled that the financial statements were false and misleading and IMO the lawyers should just be focused on minimizing the punishment that the judge will levy on DJT et al., and not on relitigating liability.

if Trump is ever accusing anyone of anything, it is because he already engages in that activity himself and he just assumes everyone else is just as corrupt as he is. So when you hear Trump crying about politicalization of the justice department hundreds of times, it is because this is what he did and wanted to do more of. And also what he plans to do if this country is dumb enough to put this idiot back in office.

Think about this. Which guy was so fucqing colossally stupid that he believed he won the election even though everyone around told him he did not? He hired two firms and paid them millions and they told he most definitely lost the election. His AG told him the same.

With all the publicity about his civil trials in NY (the current trial to determine punishment for systematic fraud and two defamation suits by E. Jean Carroll), it's easy to forget that DJT is facing a criminal trial in the hush money case--crimes that sent his attorney to prison.
Anyway, I'm finding Reuters to be a good source. Not much slanting--"just the facts, ma'am." I like AP and BBC too.
