This thread was deleted by a volunteer moderator. I certainly don't want a thread this big deleted so I've restored. THat being said, this thread has served it's purpose. I've closed it to new posts.
We have a new 2024 vaccine thread here. New people don't need to try to wade through 20,000 posts to figure out what is going on.
Regardless, the data are what they are. Republicans laid down their lives to antivaxx propaganda. Was it worth it? The red wave that never was, DeSantis floundering, Trump looking at jail time.
Not sure why you’re still fixated on Trump and M.A.G.A. If you’re saying that old and sickly folks who should’ve gotten the vaccine and then were helped along to their demise with Remdesivir and sometimes midozolam/ketamine/propofol died, then you won’t get an argument from me. Still have to view it in light of its funding source though.
Yes, they are named after the same person but they are not the same thing. Have you visited Paris, Kansas recently?
Regardless, you’re smart enough to know when you’re aimlessly attacking the funding source of an academic publication with no attempt to dissect the data, you’re conceding the point.
I know it’s hard to accept, but the garbage you’ve amplified has killed lots of republicans. Next time that 20% tip comes up after ordering from the blue haired barista with the “Squad” pin… remember your part.
First of all, I readily acknowledge I didn’t read the paper because I don’t care. It’s not anything that hasn’t already been promoted around here or championed by places affiliated w Tobin. So, you’re right. But I’m not even disputing the data, just questioning your really weird fixation w Trump and politics. Because you always bring it up.
I haven’t amplified anything. I’ve never promoted anything other than the vaxx for the elderly or sickly w comorbidities. For those who refused for whatever reason, we had “polypharmacy” with solid medical grounding we could’ve used to keep people out of the hospital instead of telling them to wait it out at home until their oxygen sats fell low enough to compel a hospital visit after which the inflammatory and cytokine stork effects were in full effect, only THEN to administer Remdesivir after day 7, followed by propofol/ketamine/midozolam cocktail to vent those who were in liver or respiratory failure. Real rocket science there.
The best you can do is “quercetin” has liver toxicity while neglecting to mention just how awful Remdesivir/Paxlovid/midozolam actually are. YOU amplified deaths because you refused to accept there were anti-inflammatory and anti-thrombotic protocols we could’ve followed for anyone, and you went along with medical orthodoxy all the way to the ventilators.
All I’ve ever said is the CDC’s own, published research shows that 3 doses PLUS infection is only marginally better than NO doses PLUS infection. Again, it was better. But, since nobody can do nuance in medicine anymore, I guess they can’t parse out the 98% who really should’ve been vaxxed from the 2% who were anomalous. Versus all the rest who very likely have better global immunity after several iterations of the virus naturally.

It’s still early days too.
Both safety and efficacy matter.
Countless studies confirm the durability and efficacy of vaccination compared to infection.
Picking and choosing single data points to reassure your conspiracy brain is a losing battle.
With everyone talking about Bronny James right now it’s important to remember that leaked confidential docs revealed that @pfizer HAD EVIDENCE there was an “increased risk” of myocarditis after taking the vaccine in early 2022 and the vaccine was still being pushed on everyone… pic.twitter.com/SPzEgoT60X
Of course, it couldn't have possibly been the vaccine - as you see, LeBron James researched it and gave it a clean bill of health.
"After doing my research and things of that nature, I felt like it was best suited not only for me, but for my family and for my friends, and that’s why I decided to do it," said James in Sept. 2021, adding that he was initially skeptical about the vaccine before deciding to get it.
very true. Autoimmunity, cognitive issues, and cardiovascular impairment can still strike many antivaxxers after COVID infection.
See: Djokovic choking away his legacy
Lol. Yes, all of us control groupers who somehow, miraculously, fought off the infection with no ill effects whatsoever are just quaking in our boots about autoimmunity because your n of 1 paper, also funded by something akin to the Tobin Foundation, says it’s a risk😂
For NoVaxx to “choke away” his legacy means he must have one to begin with. And you would be right. After all, the guy won both the Australian and French Opens this year, setting the all time grand slam record, all whilst, according to you, battling long Covid😂. Goat. Genius.
But I’m not even disputing the data, just questioning your really weird fixation w Trump and politics. Because you always bring it up.
To be clear you're wondering what politics has to do with the topic, that being a study titled "Excess Death Rates for Republican and Democratic Registered Voters in Florida and Ohio During the COVID-19 Pandemic".

Nah… that’s obvious. Just wondering why Harambe has such a Trump fetish and a desperate need to try to associate any mRNA vaccine skeptic with Trump, Qanon, and all the other nonsense.

Ha. Discussion of how vaccination decisions and policy affect demographics in the US is “a weird fixation on politics.” 🤔🤔
The real point of this thread is that we control groupers IDENTIFY as vaccinated, as does Djokovic. And it’s ok. It’s justified. Our natural immunity is robust, broad, and durable. But, no matter how hard you try or would wish you could IDENTIFY as unvaccinated, it’s not possible. Sorry, them’s the breaks.

Trump is a "vaccine" promoter (but not coercer, medical tyranny pusher), he gets booed down at his own rallies if he goes "there." One can easily tell Harambe only reads the most approved of Leftist sources.

Who would do such a political study?
Someone funded by the Tobin Center for Economic Policy and affiliated with those extreme conservative bastions in Harvard or Yale, lol. Look at all the PhDs who put their name on the study. Good way to lock in tenure. The echo chamber is strong at our Ivy League institutions and Hopkins.

I'd suggest it's because self-proclaimed serious "mRNA vaccine skeptics" have generally done a poor job of distancing themselves from the obvious cranks.

"MRNA vaccine skeptics" can't outshout the mainstream media. I'd say the vaxxers have done a great job of conflating everyone who isn't lockstep with them are Nazis, traitors, and at best, cranks. When it is in fact, the other way around.
After the Democrats lost the House, there was a need to cap off the scandal and I suggested that the Justice Department would secure a light plea on a couple tax counts with little or no jail time.
Members and the media would then declare the scandal closed and demand that we all “move on.”
It is unnerving to see how the response unfolded so precisely as predicted. Members made repeated reference to the plea bargain to avoid further discussion.
Rep. Kweisi Mfume (D.-Md.) was positively irate that “We are doing this all over again for the Hunter Biden show to someone who has pleaded guilty and has taken responsibility for not filing taxes for two years. This is ludicrous. Beam me up, Scotty. There’s no intelligent life down here. None.”
He then tore up papers in disgust.
Members and the media were literally citing a plea bargain as dispositive, even as two lead investigators were saying it was fixed and politically influenced.
Some in the media attacked these two IRS veterans as “so-called whistleblowers” (just as members previously attacked “so called journalists” for discussing censorship records).
Others insisted that the allegations were still “unproven” or “unverified” while showing the same lack of interest in establishing the truth.
Notably, these same media outlets did wall-to-wall coverage of the false Russian collusion claims in the Steele dossier.
They are now simply shrugging off what could be one of the most serious corruption scandals in modern history despite the testimony of highly credible whistleblowers and thousands of pages of supporting evidence.
None of this is going to work, of course. The public has long ago lost trust in the media. Indeed, the “Let’s Go, Brandon” movement is as much a mocking of the media as it is the President.
