I will never forget that photo of Trump with a bunch of evangelical grifter pastors all laying their hands on Trump for a nice prayer photo in the Oval office. The entire globe looked at that an correctly assessed that Trump is probably the most hypocritical, easily spotted con man, leader n history. But to his followers, it meant that he was one of them. He was Born again and That Jesus sent him to us.

Perhaps I'm wrong to make TOO much of it, but this mostly boils down why my view of the U.S. has fallen so, so far. I NEVER would have guessed that somewhere between 30 and 40% of Americans could see this over and over again, and STILL want him as the most powerful person in the world.
