Interesting. No one here can justify sending billions to Ukraine. Not one person. It is the perpetual white flag from CNN/Fox/MSNBC sheeple.
They can't make lesser points because they can't make bigger ones first.
I can. It has prevented Russia from overthrowing the democratically elected government of Ukraine (which, despite Putin's rhetoric, wants nothing to do with Russia). As an added benefit, more than 100,000 Russian soldiers have been killed, more than 1000 Russian tanks have been destroyed, we learned the Moskva makes a better submarine than surface ship, the Russian military has been shown to be inept (especially the Air Force), and there have been hours and hours and hours of entertaining videos of Russian tanks throwing their turrets hundreds of feet into the air. All of this makes it worth every single penny.
Also, it's allowed the US equipment to serve its initial purpose (killing Russians) rather than sit in a warehouse while average Americans pay billions of dollars per year to store and maintain it. The billions of dollars in aid that the US has provided to Ukraine will probably end up saving average Americans money over the next 20 years.

It has enabled Russia to liberate the Donbas.
Average americans weren't losing money from Ukraine/Russia before this started, doofus.

You think storing and maintaining tens of thousands of pieces of military equipment, such as Bradleys, is free? Do you think storing millions of rounds of ammunition is free? Or, do you think this is paid for by average Americans?

What is the storage fee for a Bradley?
What is the cost for a new Bradley?
Lol.
You've come full circle, to kick yourself in the head.
Storage fees are less expensive than purchasing new units, Gomer Pyle.
Now, let's check the pentagon budget to see the savings from storage fee avoidance
Military expenditures data from SIPRI are derived from the NATO definition, which includes all current and capital expenditures on the armed forces, including peacekeeping forces; defense ministries and other government agenc...
It never quite ceases to stun me that the hate so many keep for the US... forces them to back a nation like Russia as it commits war crimes, genocide and a war against civilians. Because you know hypocrisy.

The units are already purchased. They are sitting in warehouses costing average Americans hundreds of millions or billions of dollars per year to store and maintain. If they are not used they will be disassembled (at additional cost to average Americans) and replaced with new units. If they are sent to Ukraine and destroyed, they will be replaced with new units.
So, would you rather:
a) Pay storage and maintenance for the next 20 or 30 years and then pay disassembly and disposal costs of equipment.
b) Pay to send equipment to Ukraine and not pay to store and maintain it for the next 20 - 30 years, or pay to disassemble and dispose of it.
Throwback Thursday! In 2018, the U.S. Air Force admitted to spending up to $1,280 per cup to keep coffee hot for their fighter pilots. It was the $1,300 hot-coffee cup scandal. In 2016, Travis Air For

Please bear in mind that you are very very stupid.
Your temporary love affair with a country you'd never even heard of before last year doesn't mean you love America. It means you're currently pretending to love a country you'd never heard of a year ago.
Russia said it had made further inroads in eastern Ukraine as Western defense chiefs gathered in Germany for a meeting to determine a major new arms package for Kyiv.

Are you saying Viktor Yanukovych wasn't democratically elected?
p.s. I visited Ukraine in 2014 and have family that has lived there for the last 10 years. So, take your projections about your own lack of geographic awareness and shove them up your a**.
