Looks like he's trying to be childishly sarcastic. The Indictment appears to clear him and the other dupes of any illegalities (it basically says they were deceived into repeating Russian propaganda). So believing he's clear of charges, I'm sure Pool wants to take the opportunity to pretend the government is persecuting him and that he has had to knuckle under with a gun to his head. That's my read on what he's doing.
remember that R's still, to this day, deny collusion with Russia. Such dopes. Such utter dopes.
The Justice Department on Thursday charged former Trump 2016 campaign adviser Dimitri Simes with violating U.S. sanctions against Russia.
Simes, a dual citizen of Russia and the United States, served as an adviser to former President Donald Trump during his 2016 campaign. The Justice Department alleges that Simes and his wife, Anastasia Simes, "participated in a scheme to violate U.S. sanctions for the benefit of sanctioned Russian broadcaster Channel One Russia and to launder funds obtained from that scheme."
At the Economic Club in NY today... best brain, best words:
Q: What specific legislation will you commit to to make child care affordable?
Trump: Well, I would do that and we're sitting down, you know, I was, somebody, we had Marco Rubio and my daughter, Ivanka… But I think when you talk about the kind of numbers that I'm talking about that because the child care is, child care couldn't, you know, there's something you have to have it in this country, you have to have it... I want to stay with child care… So we'll take care of it. Thank you

Is that considered "word salad" or is it Trump basket weaving in his head?
why is there a lack of diversity at Trump rallies, yet a Harris rally actually looks like America?
Is there really that many old white men to push Trump over the top?
How does it "look like America"? Trump's are roughly 80-85% white which is roughly the % of M'AGA that's white. Biden's are basically half black women.
The pollsters are all underrepresenting Trump due to unique factors never utilized in past presidential elections. He's done podcasts with media influencers such as Adin Ross, Theo Von, Logan Paul & Lex Fridman. The audience he has reached out to greatly exceeds that of the legacy media outlets. If just 1-2% of this audience had no interest in politics before but now are going to vote for Trump AFTER seeing him speak, this will be YUUUGE.
Also, Trump has reached out to a younger audience- this could very well create a massive new voting bloc for him. His spaces talk with Elon hit over a BILLION views.
Cackles has completely missed the boat by not taking advantage of these alternative media outlets.
This race will NOT be close no matter what all the Hyena-nettes say.

never forget that a vote for trump is a vote with putin. They are on the same team. Trump actually told us he trusts putin more than he trusts the CIA and US armed forces. Both want to terminate the US Constitution. Shame.
Republicans against Trump @RpsAgainstTrump · 2h LOL. According to the DOJ indictment, one of Tenet Media's producers didn’t want to post Tucker Carlson's grocery store trip in Russia because they thought it was not subtle enough for a Russian influence operation: “It just feels like overt shilling"

Donald Trump was asked today if he would commit to prioritizing legislation to make childcare affordable, and if so, what specific legislation he would advance.
This is an unedited transcript of his response: Well, I would do that, and we're sitting down, and I was, somebody, we had Senator Marco Rubio, and my daughter Ivanka was so, uh, impactful on that issue. It's a very important issue. But I think when you talk about the kind of numbers that I'm talking about, that, because, look, child care is child care is. Couldn't, you know, there's something, you have to have it – in this country you have to have it. But when you talk about those numbers compared to the kind of numbers that I'm talking about by taxing foreign nations at levels that they're not used to — but they'll get used to it very quickly – and it's not gonna stop them from doing business with us, but they'll have a very substantial tax when they send product into our country. Uh, those numbers are so much bigger than any numbers that we're talking about, including child care, that it's going to take care. We're gonna have - I, I look forward to having no deficits within a fairly short period of time, coupled with, uh, the reductions that I told you about on waste and fraud and all of the other things that are going on in our country, because I have to stay with child care. I want to stay with child care, but those numbers are small relative to the kind of economic numbers that I'm talking about, including growth, but growth also headed up by what the plan is that I just, uh, that I just told you about. We're gonna be taking in trillions of dollars, and as much as child care, uh, is talked about as being expensive, it's, relatively speaking, not very expensive compared to the kind of numbers we'll be taking in. We're going to make this into an incredible country that can afford to take care of its people, and then we'll worry about the rest of the world. Let's help other people, but we're going to take care of our country first. This is about America first. It's about Make America Great Again, we have to do it because right now we're a failing nation, so we'll take care of it. Thank you. Very good question. Thank you.

the sad thing is that trump knows if he says this with full confidence at the debate he will win the election. content doesnt' matter with trump. Just full-on confidence of a great salesman.
Trump: Why don’t we have a wealth fund? Other countries have wealth funds. We have nothing. We are going to have a sovereign wealth fund. We will put tremendous amounts of money through all this money will be taking in through tariffs
Seriously?!? HAHAHA! What a fvcking socialist loonie. I can't believe he said that.
This reminds of something our one and only socialist president George W. Bush said when his administration was tarping up assets of AIG, etc. "Only the government will know the best time to sell these assets." (Something like that. I don't have the quote anymore).
Saudi Arabia has a sovereign Wealth fund that the leaders use as their personal slush fund to do stuff like ruin the PGA and buy US middle East policy with 2 billion dollar investments into Jared Kushner.

And if Biden had given that answer to that question, we all know what the headlines would be.
