This is a runner nerd forum. In between the odd good thread you get about a thousand useless ones (usually about republicans / liberals, global warming, jamin) I've been coming in here pretty much daily for a decade. I swear to God, a lot of days I reckon about 10 people post here. Why is he so bothered about this site? Christ, he gets enough support on FB to counter it.

Secondly, HE put out the child abuse story and is promoting himself in the media and selling books off the back of it. This thread has exposed some very likely fibs he's been telling about his past. I'm afraid this one isn't off limits.

I think he's had you over mate. It happens. He's not the first and won't be the last.

I am surprised by the amount of support for Rob on his Facebook. Nobody ever stood up for Mike Rossi.

Why do they seem oblivious to the facts?

Are Brits actually less intelligent?

1521.79 miles logged on TomTom 14.5-10.6

last sub 10mm session was 03h on the 7th.

Sad thing is what these guys like Robert and Mike Rossi and Kip put their families through. Stuck having to stand by a person who very publicly humiliates themselves and stubbornly double down on their lies, only to look the even bigger fool.

If they almost broke up just because he was away from her too much, I don't think they'll survive this. As you say, it's very sad and you have to feel for his family.

Also to people saying he may be a stand-up guy but he's cheating. I think it's clear that what's he's doing makes it impossible for him to also be a stand-up guy. He has no integrity, therefore there's nothing 'stand-up' about him.

It's affecting him because he either has to log some real miles now or he's paranoid and constantly watching his back while he continues to cheat. I'm glad he's suffering, because he was already halfway through to making a mockery of what others before him accomplished with blood sweat and tears.

If he wasn't cheating he should have actually upped his daily mileage to show us up. Who is stopping him from running? You're telling me that a "world class" hardened ultra runner who's been through it all including consecutively faster marathons within a span of 30 hours without ever running much before is having a hard time logging some miles because of the questions on this thread?

Or let me guess, he's emotionally torn because how dare anyone ever question the integrity of a runner who hasn't been seen running when he should have been running? All I see right now is deflection, he hasn't posted anything substantial yet besides excuses and sob stories, the latest of him rescuing a stranded dog.

In my opinion he should have confessed already. For his family's sake I hope he doesn't prolong this and further drag them through mud. He has to make some difficult decisions now because over the next several weeks there will be damming articles and this thread will not stop growing.

Rob - at this point you should be posting every piece of corroborating evidence you have, it's getting really ugly fast.

It's not clear. He may mean that 100% of donations are going to charity despite him being desparate for funds himself.
