In general, the new rankings come out around Tuesday. The new AR rankings are up today already:
http://www.tcnj.edu/~jennings/Atlantic_CC/wkpoll.htmFor the national and all regional rankings:

why? nobody gives a shit about teams outside top 10 in the region. besides it is way too hard predict for those crappy teams.
Even with Hardbarger's poor showing at Toga will not determine how the race between SLU and RIT play out. Personally I believe it will definitely have some gap between these two when regionals come down the road. Why? Look at the results, you don't find Malcomb in it. Was he SLU's consistent number 3 or 4 runner? Lets say Hardbarger ran better and Malcomb kid was in it would the score be the same? I think so but that's my opinion. Others may have theirs, I do not care.
To what I think as of now SLU is locked solid in the 4th spot unless they prove me wrong, which I highly doubt it.
This past weekend has been wild. Can't wait to see what national ranking looks like.
"Geneseo was foolish to apply such mental exertion this early in the season. Being the Harvard of the SUNY schools, they clearly are getting cocky with their mental advantage and are doing too much, too soon. They should do OK at regionals with the 2 weeks recovery, but the 1 week between regionals and nationals will kill them. They need to remember that they are still only a state school, and such intense mental preparation will physically cripple them in no time."
What do you mean by "need to remember they are only a state school"..as a non-runner that attends a state-school, none of which are competing for any top honor, I am offended. Just because we're going to be in less debt than you in the end of four years, doesnt have any effect on the ability to run a race. Grow up, you condescending ass.
Good luck to Geneseo, and to all teams, state school, or not.

Dude, are you seriously saying that you don't understand that the post you quoted was intended to be humorous? Seriously?
If so, you're not much of an advertisement for the intelligence of State school students (and I was one). Jebus, chillax.
Regionals are going to be very deep and exciting to watch. Best of luck to everyone running! Should be interesting to see how front running/packs/and 4-6 runners will play out in a meet that will be spread out with a lot of good runners. Everyone on here argues about Sunyac/E8/UAA/(conference) results, we all know that when regionals and nationals play out it all depends on how the scoring athletes step up to the occasion. I wish I was in there to mix it up with you all. I have adrenaline just thinking of how many team/lead changes will take place throughout.
i think this is going to be one of the most exciting regionals yet
Let's face it, no one really cares how the race plays out. Here are the real questions.
How many laps 'til the meet record?
Will that Oneonta kid wear that ridiculous looking baseball cap during the race again?
After tanking the last 2 races does the whole Plattsburgh team plan to unleash the secret of Ben Jackson? Do they really still call themselves the wolfpack?
Will C. Fred Nose-lyn make an appearance? Seamus?
Will anyone spell eddy novoria's name correctly?
Will all the kids from New Jersey smell like... New Jersey?
I see Geneseo has a few new flags. Will any of them be taken again?
Who will ride Krueger's bike? Rowdy Ryan?
Will Nick Lowe finally reveal to us the ultimate secret that is his medical history?
First Yernye then the New Paltz team, is anyone else desparate enough for attention to get a mohawk?
Will Andy Pollock be at the meet? Will he be wearing the same thing he always does? Has it ever been washed?
Will Fredonia be surprised to learn of electricity?
Will I be able to think of anything to write about NYU?
Will Steven's Inst. do the Miles Square Mile for their warm-up?
Will the Rochester team honor Mark Stevens by dressing foolishly?
Who will make one of those stupid movie things like the last couple years? Will Kosgei be Snoop Dogg again?
Is Jared Burdick good at math?
How good will Lauren Mesi look? Stay for another year please?
With so many females around will the RPI guys have a chance to pick any of them up?
Will Big Will please tell us some more about St. Lawrence?
All of this and more...
Does anyone want to make out with the Jare-Bear??
We already know the answers to a few of those.

Will Cortland don their "throwback" white uniforms?

I guess that a top 40 isn't very realistic, but it would still be interesting to some, I'm sure. For just one example, I'd be interested to see how Oswego does: top half of the field (depending on which teams show up)? That would be a big improvement over the last couple of years. Too bad there isn't some kind of "most improved" recognition, for teams that really move up compared to previous seasons.
How many teams will actually attend? I was surprised to learn that there are nearly 60 schools in the region sponsoring cross, but can't believe that all of them will show--are the lesser teams in the NYC/NJ area likely to make the trek to Geneseo? Will there even be 40 teams competing?
Flip side of the above: Are there any teams that usually attend, and *shouldn't*--teams that are completely out of their depth? Are there teams that score in the 1000-point range?
