What's the over/under in hours before Trump claims it's all ok because he secretly self-pardoned before leaving the white house?

I have little doubt that he signed a document for a self pardon that covers every crime he every committed before and after leaving office.

Technically, I don't think he could issue pardons for future acts. And his advisors talked him out of pardoning himself or his family for acts during his term.

Did you watch Garland this week? Have you observed him these last couple of years? It’s not possible to imagine a person more the opposite of Trump in every way. Exactly. Having the documents after his presidency ended was a new crime. He has no protection under a b.s. self pardon claim.

I just saw Cash Pattel on Fox say that it was all an accident and he didn't mean to bring the docs to Florida. I guess that would also mean they're still classified. Guess what, mishandling classified documents even by accident is still a felony. I worked for a government contractor for 4 years. They hammer this into your head. We had multiple training classes per year on the proper handling of classified documents and the penalties. Trump and his cult can keep spinning this and making up theories, but there's no getting around it. He committed a crime.

There are a lot of ridiculous things about this statement but the funniest part of this is the claim that the classified documents at Mar-a-Lago was about his desire to 'work' from home.

If you look up the definition of probity I the dictionary , there is a literally a picture of Garland. Pure panic and laughable. Trump knows he’s crossed the Rubicon. If this is not a goof and meant to be a serious response to Garland, Trump’s headed to jail.

I had a top secret (TS/SCI) clearance for over a dozen years. I reported a guy who liked meeting at the end of the day to discuss plans for the next day. The next morning he would have a documented solution in hand that took hours to prepare. Trouble was the facility was closed at night, and no work was allowed to be done offsite. ... I reported the issue with SCIF manager who said he would fix the issue. He lost his clearance.

In the above case the guy was only trying to stay ahead of the classified work by working nights at home. Not doing any nefarious, evidently. But, he broke the rules and that was that. No second chances.

Trouble is Trump doesn't know that he crossed. In his mind the river parted for him. At point of no return he suddenly sees that it was a tidal wave that emptied the river and a bigly 50 foot wave is racing to swallow his nonexistent escape route.

His lawyers may have a viable mental defect defense. They could argue that he actually believes he is still the president, and therefore he lacked the mens rea to commit a crime. As a narcissist, he can't handle the psychic trauma of losing, so he has detached from reality as defense mechanism.

It would be complete BS, but I could see it.

Why do people side with this guy. He is a proven racist, a narcissist, he would like to split the country and start a civil war, he hates anyone who questions him, he has no soul, no heart and he wishes he could be king. He loves dictators, and refuses to denounce white supremacist.

Fortunately everything I have stated can be verified. All Trumpers, please, do your research. Or are you afraid of the truth? And yes, he would trade this country in a heart beat. Stealing (yes stealing) nuclear info. Imagine what would happen if he lost another election... we're all doomed.
