Just a few days after a massive and mysterious bruise was spotted on US President Donald Trump's right hand, a video showing him dragging his legs has surfaced on social media, sparking alarming health concerns. Trump's right...
Not one person here has argued that the kid should be shunned. The kid was a prop, nothing more. Same as every politician does to try to tug at people's heart strings. Maga pretends this matters as Trump lies, fires all auditors, cuts jobs and contracts without proper legal approvals, installs unqualified loyalists so they can break the law for him.
If any democrat did one of these things they would be losing their minds but for Trump to do 100 is just fine with them because they think they are winning. Meanwhile jobs are down, stocks are down, US exports are dropping off a cliff, tariffs are going to rocket inflation and the Fed is predicting -1.5% GDP this quarter, and world confidence in the US is abysmal. Enjoy all the winning.
The first two lines makes you and others feel okay with themselves doesn't it? And then the try to turn it around, to "if a Dem had done it" even more despicable. The Democrats embarrassed themselves no end last night, no sane person thinks otherwise. On top of their shameless Senate vote on Transgenders in Women's sports, even left leaning folks have abused those twits holding up signs and not respecting decorum. Even in really volatile years NO ONE did that en masse. A bit of ass holeness here and there? yeah, but not like that.
A little Zelensky view for you do gooders as well.
Zelenski is in his 6th year of his 5-year term, has had his political opponents jailed or murdered and has become quite rich on the American dollars sent to his country without any oversight from the Congress. And they call Trump a dictator?
We agree that the heckling of Biden was also unacceptable of elected officials.
Trump is not yet a dictator, but he is making a lot of moves in that direction: removing oversight, installing loyalists, removing press, bypassing congress, aligning with other dictators, not divesting himself or cabinet of business dealings with the government.
When you say "has had his political opponents jailed or murdered and has become quite rich" you are referring to Putin, not Zelenskyy. Easy mistake when you swallow a daily firehose of misinformation.
Bush Jr. said we couldn't change Presidents in a war and it was not even in the US. If Ukraine could get Russia to stop bombing them, maybe they could hold safe and fair elections. Zelenskyy would almost certainly win. But Russia occupies 20% of their country and virtually all of their resources are focused on that existential threat.
What’s alarming? Best that could happen for the country is a drops dead before permanently destroying the economy. If he can find a way to take Vance with him, all the better.
You do realize that this is a self-own, right? You're comparing Trump's health to Biden's, a president who was forced out of the election race due to his perceived health problems?
You, old guy and Nancy need to start your own Anti-American Forum and use that name for the website. Absolutely sick horrible people, all 3 of you. The lies are over the top. Leave the country and get on with your real purpose in life, or is this it?
Are your feelings hurt?
I think he's right
More importantly, your feelings are still hurt over the bigly Harris loss. Have you gotten over it yet sweetie? Did your boyfriend dump you over your TDS that you can't let go? Dems are a funny bunch, they cry and cry and cry then question others. Kisses to your boyfriend sweetie 😘
To be fair, none of the Democrats and liberals that I encounter even mention Harris. I think they recognized that she was a seriously flawed candidate--the only thing I heard them say after the election was "of course"--and I think they want to move to less fraught topics.
It actually seems that the people who keep bringing up Harris nowadays are, for the most part, the same people who couldn't/can't "let go" of President Trump's defeat in 2020, and who keep talking about the 2024 election--which was four months ago. Those are over and done, time to look ahead and move on.
Exactly. I think everyone realizes the whole campaign was a disaster. Biden should have resigned gracefully and allowed a full primary.
Nonetheless, they're not playing the same game. For a Black/Indian female Democrat to win the presidency she has to be flawless in every possible way. Any awkward interviews or photo and the average voter gets spooked.
I'm not sure the campaign "was a disaster"--though Harris et al. had the sense to know and say, right from the start, that they were the underdogs. She did get more votes than President Trump got in 2020; Harris/Walz lost, but it wasn't a blowout.
In retrospect I must agree that the Dems could/should have had Biden declare himself a single-termer a year or so before the election, and conducted a full primary. I doubt that Harris would have been the pick.
I think your final comment was spot on. The Democrats' problem is that they don't have many potential candidates who fill the "straight, married white guy" position that is the default for many voters. I think Buttigieg would make a tremendous POTUS or SecState, for instance, but...
It was the same thing in 2016, and helps explain why the Dem powers-that-be tilted the primary toward Clinton. Any woman is going to have to be "flawless," and she certainly was not; but I think those Dem powers looked at Bernie and decided that the country was not ready to elect an old(!) atheist Jew, and that Clinton was the better choice.
The left is unhinged and in complete shambles right now. Trump has them acting like middle schoolers. Donny was too much for them in the second go around.
Senator Rubio makes a good point: if we don’t protect countries like Ukraine when they are attacked, many other nations will have to go nuclear to protect themselves. No one should want more countries with nukes. But that’s where Secretary of State Rubio is taking us. Abandoning Ukraine and telling Poland, Taiwan, South Korea etc that they need nukes.

See, that's the thing: I deal with dyed-in-the-wool Dems/libs pretty much all day, and I just haven't seen that. They're p.o.ed that President Trump won, but they all (with a very few nutbag exceptions) immediately accepted that she lost.
At the risk of repetition, here was my earlier observation on the subject: To be fair, none of the Democrats and liberals that I encounter even mention Harris. I think they recognized that she was a seriously flawed candidate--the only thing I heard them say after the election was "of course"--and I think they want to move to less fraught topics.
