This thread was deleted by a volunteer moderator. I certainly don't want a thread this big deleted so I've restored. THat being said, this thread has served it's purpose. I've closed it to new posts.
We have a new 2024 vaccine thread here. New people don't need to try to wade through 20,000 posts to figure out what is going on.
3.5. Subgroup analyses Between the 12–15 years subgroup (30.3 [15.2–60.5] cases per million vaccine doses; 22 413 272 doses and 5 studies) and the 16–17 years subgroup (44.8 [21.6–92.8] cases per million vaccine doses; 6 469 868 doses and 3 studies), the incidences of myopericarditis did not differ significantly (P = 0.446; Fig. 3). . .
3.6. Results of the risk ratios Based on the risk ratios, none of the incidences of myopericarditis pooled in the current study were higher than those after smallpox vaccinations (132.1 cases per million vaccine doses) and non-COVID-19 vaccinations (56.0 cases per million vaccine doses) (Fig. 5; Supplemental Table 4); moreover, all of them were significantly lower than those in adolescents aged 12–17 years after COVID-19 infection (females: 247 cases per million; males: 501 cases per million) (Fig. 5; Supplemental Table 5). . .
Wow. The biggest talking point for 'rational' antivaxxers goes up in smoke.
A video is a perfectly valid reason to dismiss evidence.
They are entertaining – they are not efficient methods for distributing information and arguments.
Anything worth saying is worth carefully writing.
But please, continue to demand we watch 45 min videos of podcasters. So compelling!
Of course, what is being discussed is video testimony given by Dr. Rancourt at a Canadian public tribunal on Covid. However, your response is certainly proof of your gaslighting ways. Any possible excuse to not allow yourself to be exposed to something outside your programming. And, yes, the link to all his sources has also been posted a couple times. True to form, you ignore it.
13 million dead from the vaccine, lockdowns, and medical malpractice for a non-pandemic.
My neighbor's brother in law has a co worker with a friend who "got Covid real bad". He is a guy who "always works out" and is "in good shape". Because of this, everyone should get a minimum of 5 doses of experimental mRNA goop, 6 when the new "booster" comes out.

Out of the guys I know who have had 6, none of them have gotten Covid.

You registered today. Wish I had known this a year ago, it would have greatly influenced me.
Ok, well then they would need a nasal booster that induces a mucosal, secretory IgA response. Lacking that, Vicks First Defense and Zicam work wonders. Try it and find out for yourself. Truly. These are brand, not some voodoo, if effective, health store concoction, so I know you’ll approve.
1) Glad we agree that you can believe infection driven immunity is better (I disagree) and still think vaccination is a net positive.
Let’s be clear. I do not think an IM shot that induces “some kind of response” to an outdated strain is nearly the same as a nasal vector that induces mucosal immunity. Might as well just rely on your natural immunity to the first XBB variant, among others.
Boomers were around 14 years old at most in the 1950s.
tell you what, if you get simple demographics correct, then maybe you can move onto vaccines.
Found the triggered Boomer lol
Good one. Just par for the course with you though. When you are objectively wrong, double down and resort to silly attacks. It’s why no one here takes you seriously about anything yet alone medicine.

Your entire post was pedantically critiquing my choice of the word “boomer.” I apologize for not taking you so seriously, sir. I had no idea you cared this much.
If anti vaxxers believe they are correct that mRNA vaccines are harmful, then what is the plan they have besides shouting what they believe to be true with these podcasters, bloggers, and comedians? Can they go to an FDA advisory committee and get the vaccines taken off? Wouldn’t that be the best way to do something productive and to help show people they are right? what’s the excuse for not doing that…or for failing to do that?

P.S. stay triggered, boomer
I’m not even a boomer but you have identified yourself as a GenZ child at best by thinking the phrase “boomer” is an insult. Yet another reason to not give any weight to your words; you are apparently still a minor or best case freshly graduated from school.
Insurance companies employ actuaries who use statitical models to price premiums & design policies by factoring in age, risks, the jab, etc.
So a business analyst’s statistical model helps insurance companies make predictions on payouts, no matter how ridiculous the claims, but they’re not in public health.
hahahha! That was hilarious watching Trump talk about the covid vaccine w Bret Baier. He so desperately wants to take credit for it. Even suggesting that "people are saying" he is "personally is responsible for saving 100 million lives by rushing it out". But he says "for some reason" Republicans don't like the vaccine. hahahah! For some reason? Hmmm. I wonder what it could be. What could be the reason that right wingers don't like the vaccine? It's a mystery. Never to be solved.
He knows that his base is made up of antivax nutballs like in this thread. He needs these nutballs for their votes.
Now imagine being a Trumper on letsrun. You love your orange dictator so you support him with his stealing of Nuke documents and hiding them in the bathroom on other threads. Witch hunt damnit! But you need to spend time on the covid thread claiming that the FDA rushed the "gene altering deadly vaccine killer" without proper testing. At the same time that your Orange buffoon thinks he should be given credit for that.
Hahaha. Damn fun to watch the monster eat itself alive.

Took @ 20 years to get the FDA to admit oxycontin was addictive. Similar experience with Vioxx and many others. In fact, @ 1/3rd of all drugs ok'ed by FDA have had serious safety issues.
More than 70 drugs approved by the FDA from 2001 to 2010 ran into safety concerns that prompted withdrawals from the market, "black box" warnings or other actions.

I'd recommending dropping the "boomer" references.
It's neither an accurate portrayal of predominant body of vaccine skeptics nor fair to the broad body of persons of that vintage.
Stick to the facts. They're overwhelmingly on your side.
"Everyone was pushing everybody to try to get more and more and more vaccines in people's arms," Justice said during his weekly online news conference.
