Junior. Just want to get a jump on everyone else. Learned that in business. Also, rising seniors can take official visits as of 8/1 this year. According to my calendar, that’s less than 2 months from now. So there’s not as much time as you may think. Keep on truck’n.

Thanks. Not a troll at all. Interested in what is going on at: Notre Dame, Texas, North Carolina, and Virginia. Also want to know what coaches are in play at: Princeton, Purdue, and Stanford. Yes, those are the schools my son has been communicating with and all have an opening or someone who is rumored to leave. Very interested in the back and forth here. Go!

First of all, nearly everything you are reading here about coaches is false or unsubstantiated bullshit. The best thing you can do for your son is to get off of this message board. I recommend you investigate the educational and athletic options for your son by visiting the institutions and discussing potential opportunities with the coach.

Understood. We visited most of the schools I mentioned. All are extraordinary institutions to which I would be proud to send my son. My entire reason for monitoring this thread is to see which coaches we have been taking to would likely be gone by September. I don’t want to be blindsided within weeks of our proposed official visit date. This is about giving my kid the best information possible given a fluid situation not under our control. Onward Ho!!!

I seriously doubt there will be any significant coaching changes at Stanford. What rumor did you hear to the contrary?

Stanford Head Coach Miltenberg to Notre Dame was mentioned a few times.

Recruits dad, this process will play out over the next few weeks. I highly suggest you stop posting. It is honestly a bit disturbing if you really are a recruits dad. Your child will be fine. Allow him/her to figure things out. I’m pretty confident they will survive even if there is a coaching change. You cannot solve all of your children’s problems - especially if they are about to be a senior in high school. Do yourself a favor and stop posting, spend time with your child and allow them to make mistakes.

Guy at Illinois Springfield started the program a few years back. Is he retiring or was he forced out? Kind of surprising he’d leave.

UIS coach retired, he was not forced out.
