What is really hilarious is to think that some ignorant Letsrun basement troll would have the $156+ to sign up for the Pittsburgh Marathon. It seems pretty far-fetched that they would 1) have a job; 2) have a credit card; and 3) be able to figure out how to sign up. On the other hand, I would expect that they would be dumb enough to use their own personal credit card information to sign up under someone else's name.

Looks like the best us female runner in history had to register and pay for a bib#?

Whats the over/under? 2:25? :52 on the Quakertown course would predict she can run low 2:20's but that was months ago, so she has to be in even better shape.

All we know for sure is that the morning of the Pittsburg Marathon, her eplileptic cat will fall into a neighbor's well and will require speedy transit to the vet for Psychotherapy and meds.

I've signed up friends for races on my card, and $156 is not a lot of money - like going out for dinner. I don't think someone did sign up for a joke, but it is possible. I would have no problem paying that to run under Mike Rossi and jogging a 3:11:45 if I was in the area. Hell, I'd even buy head to toe Boston Gear to do it in.

What time do people think she can actually run a marathon in? I'm betting she's over 4 hours.

I am going to go ahead and guess 3:40.

She has a low bib number (253), but not an elite bib number.

It took a low to mid 2:30 to win in recent years.

Could that just mean she registered early?
