I am surprised Viren's name has not come up more often in this thread.

Suzy
Kenenisa Bekele is a joy to watch.

Jessica Hull needs to work on her start. She has the wrong arm forward.
If you slow down the video you can see that this causes her to take her first step (a half step) backwards.
I actually PM'd her about this and she replied. She said she's always done it that way.
To this day:
-Kipchoge
-Bekele
-Rudisha
Kipchoge and Bekele (Kipchoge now, Bekele at his track prime--i.e. his 10k WR) are just so flawlessly smoooth and efficient.
Rudisha's is a little atypical due to his lankiness, stride length, and arm drive, but his power make up for his quirks.

i agree with most of the posts here, but that makes me think it's harder to ask the question:
who are examples of runners who don't have nice looking strides?
Salazar

Salazar??????
He was a terrific runner, no question. But he had one of the most ungainly, knock-kneed strides that a runner that good could possibly have.

I was going to say this too! I'm not an expert on form by any means but it's definitely really mesmerizing to watch
I don't understand you people. She's fast, yeah.
Her form is clunky at best, though. As someone else has already noted, she muscles through her gait cycle so much. It's honestly hard for me to watch sometimes.

Bro.
He asked for the most beautiful stride, not who you thought was the most beautiful runner.
Carlos Lopes-- he was a legend and could still win gold at 38
Lawi Lalang
Geoffrey Mutai
Even 10-11 years later, I remain impressed with Lukas Verzbicas.
Lagat, yes.
Paul Cummings was poetry in motion
Sage Canaday has a wonderful stride. Wide arms, slow turnover, and a shifting trunk. A thing of beauty!

For distance, Bekele. No one ever made 60 second lap after 60 second lap after 60 second lap look so relaxed and easy.
For mid-distance, Rudisha.
For sprints, Bolt.

Listen man, I love to watch Bekele as much as anyone, truly. The way the soles of his feet invert and form a parallel line with the ground/horizon makes for an aesthetically pleasing experience.
But Bekele is not the end of the thread. Daniel Komen was like some sort of science experiment that turned a man into a sort of perpetual-motion pogo stick. Bekele strains. Kipchoge strains. Bolt srains. El G strains. They all tied up at some point. It's very difficult to find a video of Komen where he doesn't appear to be floating. He doesn't always win, true. Yet he still looks better finishing wherever he does then the bloke who won the race!
I swear that man could break 4 in the mile with his mouth duct taped shut. I think he was breathing through his pores directly into his muscles. Something was not normal. It is tragic that he never ran a marathon. He was built for it.
Another vote for Jessica Hull
Konstanze klosterhalfen
Wilson kipketer
That slow motion video of Jessica is stunning!

Bekele runs with power and bounce but I dont think his form can be called relaxed. Compare Lagat to Bekele from this 2007 race.
https://youtu.be/r2rHmSKqs2wTo me, Lagat is the smoother runner. Not better or faster. Just smoother.
Not very fair.
The video show the last 400m kick, not the whole race, and Bekele was a bit out of shape.
This video, one year later at the olympics show something very different:
Bekele pushing a strong pace while Lagat is completely struggling and even his stride looks hurt after he was dropped
