My main qualm is that there are dopers in every event. To be the best in the world in your event and beat extremely talented athletes that are doping points to the obvious. You are doping! The truth will come out and your petty attempts to deflect it will only harm you even more in the long term.

Once again, we will only know if any official body presents or confirms especially clear evidence of wrongdoing. That is the ONLY way. Anything short of that is conjecture.
It's conjecture to take what Fancy Bears brought forth and say Evan dopes. It's also conjecture to assume Evan's statement is totally truthful.
The saddening, maddening, thing of all this is the role of conjecture. That we won't know unless tangible proof of doping is unearthed.

When Evan Jager states he has " worked so hard in the running community to build trust" what exactly is talking about???
I think when Jager speaks of building trust, he means he has tried to be very available and accessible to the running community. He is often at Nike events, he was at some of the NXR events in example last Fall. He also makes a point of responding to fans on his Instagram which may seem trivial but he has enough fans that it obviously is a time-consuming venture. A lot of runners, Rupp in example, do not court this level of dialog with their fans. Evan seems very sincere and giving in this regard. If he's clean, all this has to be a total nightmare for him.

A) living in a musky basement in a house with his college friends (near Adams St I think)
B) Sleeping on a couch, not a bed
C) partying too much to be considered an elite athlete taking it seriously
He had a lot of talent and enough to get by while trying to basically live in two different worlds. One of an elite athlete and one of the typical post undergrad party bum in Madison. Jerry begged him to get out of that basement. Also I believe he ran about 13:12 that summer after leaving UW pretty much as soon as he signed with Nike.
Once he made running his absolute priority it did not surprise me he was as good as he was.
Tegenkamp on the other hand may have done something shady. I dont know what but he came back to Madison from one 3-5 month training session (maybe in AZ?) totally bulked up and ripped compared to his twig like build prior. We were talking a very short period of time, November to Jamuary or something like that before he returned. He was already a 13:25ish pro. Super, super shady and I am not the only one to notice. Probably harder for others not in his social circles to notice. But in his defense he was also talented and seemed to hardly run in college because he was always injured. In retrospect, some of those conference, regionals and NCAA appearances were major triumphs. So if he got in consistent training that could explain his 13:25-13:04 jump.

I know this is a side topic but what is the basis for saying this? They could all be clean or dopers but this double standard for presumptions seems kind of tortured.They were both NCAA champs.their speed improved after college. They both signed to run professionally for Nike. Plus, when Solinsky ran 26:59, Rupp ran 27:10.
