I would like to be 10lbs lighter for a marathon but don’t think I would hold up I’m training by cutting calories. Can’t imagine going to bed hungry after a hard 18miler.
Eat clean, train hard, don’t booze, and see where the weight goes?

I'm 6'1", and he's not 2 inches taller than me. Slight height exaggeration by someone.
Like, 20 years ago I remember a dude showing up to a few races and doing well. He looked like a body builder but ran really well. Turns out he was a pretty damn good Canadian runner named Bob Donker. He was not in peak form at the time and I don't know what he looked like in his prime but the guy was huge. Can't find any decent pictures of the guy, hoping someone who actually knows him can confirm beast status. Or maybe he was smaller when he was in true form and I only caught him after transformation.
Canada had a steeplechaser in the 80s, name escapes me, who was something like 6-1 and 170 I think.
