Tyson Gay's 15 year old daughter shot and killed

How many times do you suppose Wes and Marlean Felix let Allyson hang out at 4am in her teens? As a preacher and teacher, they knew the dangers in this world and their responsibilities as parents.

Appropriate to grieve, offer condolences, and use this as a teachable moment... all at the same time. Great discussion point for youth coaches and athletes, and parents and children.

There will be no Black Lives Matter (BLM) protest for Trinity Gray, BLM only care about criminals so since Trinity Gay was NOT a criminal BLM does not care.

As Americans we need to start Prioritizing innocent lives like Trinity Gay OVER SCUM Like Michael Brown, Samuel Dubose, Freddie Gray, Alton Sterling etc.

My guess is the ones who did the shooting had a LOOOOONG criminal record and should have been locked up.

IF BLM REALLY cared about Black Lives instead of protesting over dead criminals, they should demand criminals be locked up to the point that Black Neighborhoods are as safe as the safest all white suburbs or Iceland for example.

I have a fifteen year old girl and was thinking the same thing. Why was she out at four am. I am in way excusing the actions of the lunatics having a gun battle, but why was she out that late? I can still hear my parents telling me nothing good happens after midnight.

On a side note, I did have sex for the first time after midnight way back when so I always questioned that statement. But then you hear about stuff like this and you realize that late night early am is usually reserved for people who are drunk and/or high or criminals.

By the way, one of the reasons for our low crime rate is our homogenous population. And yes, many of us have guns, but for hunting animals, not each other.

I would never, never allow my 15 year old out past even 11pm at night.

I snuck out a lot as a kid and did a lot worse than eat at a diner.

My parents weren't bad. I was just a dumb kid.

I don't think so. She reported gun fire at 2 am; not the gun fire that killed her.

I know the momentary feeling of when my kids didn't come home straight from school and for an hour so, their whereabouts are unknown or when my son took a hard hit in a football game, but I can't imagine knowing I would not see one of my kids again. My heart goes out to Tyson, I really don't know what else to say.

It wasn't. She was hit by a stray bullet from a gunfight that erupted nearby among 2 cars. Says so in the article.
