The sad think is, it will obviously happen in track and field just as it does in every other sport, but in track and field people will have trouble believing it.

Yes, I read that article on Facebook this morning. Have to say that it appears overwhelmingly conclusive that Farah was a close friend of Aden, and his (and those around him) persistent denials about knowing him are blatant lies. One then has to ask why they are lying about an association with someone who has a negative reputation! I have always had suspicions about Farah's career progression.

The situation is just going to get worse for Farah.

So, is a legit journalist going to take hold of this thing and dig in? Why can't interpol get Aden in Qatar? Is there an extradition problem?

Yes there is an extradition problem I believe. If he ever returns to Spain he will be arrested. Maybe he will show up in DOHA for the world championships and can be extradited from there.

What's even worse is that British Athletics evidently backs up his lies. Worse, but not surprising, sorry.

I never really understood the 'big progression' argument as being a tell-tale sign of doping.

Progress isn't linear and lots of small-gains in different areas can equal one big gain.

Developing a previously unseen lethal finish after years of pro training is fairly uncommon, I'd think. Going from 3:34 to 3:28 in a season also has to be seen as a bit suspect. My gut feeling is that the non enhanced Farah is the one that was mentioned previously at the Edinburgh CC meeting from 2-3 years hence.

you know who else looks like a douche-bad in all of this? Gary Lough (and by implication, Paula Radcliffe, to some degree).

What a bunch of creeps. Mo Farah is just completely unlikeable. He's like a little bratty 12-year-old in the body of a 36 year-old EPO-processing machine. I don't know how he has any fans. People that like him must just be the kind of people who will latch onto any kind of success whatsoever, and make the person out to be an amazing human despite all evidence to the contrary. He's an absolute twat.
