I'd rather have A), which would be an awesome story. B) is orders of magnitude more likely.
I've asked around to multiple local Quakertown runners and not a single person has heard of her as a runner.

Well there was a guy from Pennsylvania nobody heard of that showed up and won.the JFK 50 mile. I think it's possible.
I bet she breaks it...and that I will break it once my Ironman ban is over!

(B) offers some amusement, watching a Costanza-esque fib snowball out of control.
(A), on the other hand, would alter my worldview. I'd be a happier, better person having witnessed it. I'd never forget the moment I logged on to LR and realized "holy cow she really is that good". If she breaks 55, I'll still tip my cap to her.
There's also option (C), as some others have speculated, that this is a misguided publicity stunt for the race, and there's some stupid gotcha that will be revealed on race day.

hi, this is Austin Sedicum, Jill coach and boss. Her times are for real, and according to my observation, the fastest female in America has never run a race. No publicity stunt here just an amazing find .
I'm honored that she has chosen to wait and make my run her first, after discovering her talent..... But following the rotary, we have a very full schedule leading to Boston 2017.

This is quite the phenomenon. What is this girl's background? Did she run in college?

Really? surprised that it's a big issue to claim to have perhaps the fastest woman in the world in your race and have an American record broken?
It's a really big deal and an awesome story if true. NBC would probably want to be there to record for their story they'll run on her when she's in the Olympics.
He also claims to have seen her GPS data and says she's legit. And again, the claim is that she ran the full course, so it's not a km/mile mixup. He's a real runner, not some gym bro who believes AV's made up times.
I hope it's true. It'd be the first time one of these stories turned out to be true, but there's a first time for everything.

Philadelphia is the nearest big city. However, the Lehigh Valley (Allentown) Airport is closer.

This is what I can tell you...The course certifier was out today...There will be at least one official keeping an eye on Jill....She will be doing another training run on the course soon. I will let you know when...Quakertown Rotary is not involved in this process, other than providing the race and mooching some PR...We put this race on for a couple hundred other runners, not just one.

This guy sounds very serious about all this. If she ran that time on that course in a training run, then I would have to say she is Olympic material. So who is this person?
