They don't want litigation-lawsuit issues floating around. Someone (Phil Knight) needs to step in a throttle Capriotti down. Even the "Don" (Phil) in a Mafia family needs to smack his "Capo's" (John) around sometimes.

Nike is the same company that still employees Stark, so it does not surprise me that they would tolerate that behavior. They will not care until it impacts their pocketbook. Then again, they had to settle out of court over Stark already and yet they still keep him around.

Could Nike be running a doping program up to and including Capriotti's knowledge of a doping program? Naaaah.... No way. That's impossible. Doping? No way.

Maybe Capriotti has been hitting the Androgel at NOP a little too hard.

If I were Nike, I would definitely be trying to destroy any competitor including Brooks. No two ways about it. Competing against Brooks in many different ways costs them a bunch of money.

Nike's real problem is that management has their hands in the steroid bottle. Someone needs to tell these raging execs that those are for the athletes.
