Why are we arguing about that trash division? The division champ from the NFC east has lost in the NFC WILD CARD game 3 of the last 4 years.

Im sure you did finish elementary school but not much more. I also promise my degrees would put you to shame, this may be reaching but i am pretty confident anyone who uses bro in a sentence is a punk making less than 50k a year.
You do realize every team will eventually have a bye week correct?

Of course I realize that, and you are incorrect in your assumption. That doesn't change the fact that 6-2 teams are ahead of 5-2 teams in the standings right now, that you don't understand basic math, and that you are too stubborn or too stupid to admit that you are wrong.

Im so baffled that you think KYLE ORTON is a better quarterback than tony romo that I don't even know how to argue. I just wont. I cant. Its too much.
Well, what can I say? I like numbers!
dial it up wrote:You gotta be the same type of eagles fan who thinks Foles is more than the 3rd best qb in the nfc east.
I think he's the 6th best QB in the NFC East alone. Romo, Manning, RG3, Sanchez, McCoy. I won't throw Cousins in there because MAN, does he choke harder than anyone I've ever seen. INCLUDING Romo. Let's make this clear: Foles SUCKS.
He was good last year because the receivers were always wide open and he had a 100% healthy offensive line all year. Defenses hadn't figured out the offense all that well yet and the field was always spread really wide because DJacks was taking half the defense long down the field with him. This year we're seeing what he really is. He looks exactly like he did in college. Suckily inaccurate long ball. Throwing off the back foot ON EVERY DAMN PASS. High, low, you name it. The only reason his CMP% is respectable is because of the short dump-off passes to the RBs and tight ends. Even then he often throws it too high or low. His footwork is garbage, and with this patchwork offensive line, he panics. A lot.
http://www.nfl.com/videos/philadelphia-eagles/0ap3000000418286/Eagles-fall-short-on-last-play-of-gameIt happens over and over again. He has no pretty Romo SPin move. He can't seem to step up in the pocket. There were at least five plays on Sunday where he had an open man downfield, but instead of stepping up and throwing it, be backpedaled and threw off the back foot. The ball ended up ten yards out of bounds each time.
Speak of the devil, they just came out with this video
http://www.nfl.com/videos/philadelphia-eagles/0ap3000000419594/Mayock-s-Slant-The-good-and-bad-of-Nick-FolesAnyways, No. I don't think Nick Foles is the 3rd best QB in the NFC East. Sorry for my long explanation.
dial it up wrote:Either way I'm glad we can put aside our differences and agree on two things: It will be a heck of a second half of the season with two dallas/eagles games likely deciding the division,
Oh, man. It'll be great

Certainly seems like it. My goodness. He's a mess.
I think the jury is still out on Mccoy, he had a rough time in cleveland but honestly who doesnt. Same goes for Weeden but both looked good monday. Ill take Foles over both those guys, and Sanchez, and Rg3 though.
Yeah, nothing good happens in Cleveland. Besides maybe Lebron going back to the Cavaliers.
Sorry, I didn't understand what you were saying about Sanchez and RG3.

As the poster above noted, that was all Jerry Jones. When the owner/gm goes to the sideline and talks to the coach it is clear who is ultimately in charge.
If Jerry said he can't go back in, he doesn't go in.
Jason does a great job of managing Jerry I believe but Jerry going into the tunnel and the sideline was so unnecessary but shows what type of organization the Cowboys have. It also shows how he worships at the altar of Romo. Would he have done that if Murray was injured?
Good points there.
I forgot Jerry Jones came down from the box to the tunnel where Romo was and then on to the sideline to update Garrett.
And Romo took some more hits while leading them to zero more points after Weeden lead to them to 10 points on his two possessions.
Here are the conferences ranked from best to worst based on their average ELO ranking as of week 9:
NFC West - 9
AFC West - 12.75
AFC North - 14.75
NFC East - 16
AFC East - 17
NFC North - 18.25
NFC South - 21.5
AFC South - 22.75
Interesting that the West divisions occupy both of the top spots and the South divisions both of the bottom spots.
Except the colts, neither the NFC or AFC south has a real playoff contending team. No doubt in my mind the AFC west is the best. The jury is still out on the NFC west. People are giving them credit for what they've done in previous years. Dallas beat St. Louis and completely destroyed the seahawks, both on the road and they dominated a game against san francisco save for their turnovers that were due to romo not being healed. Yet, they have played two close division games.
Time will tell. Also, 6-2 is ahead of 5-2, as you can tell in the NFC East standings, so I'm not sure why you argued with someone about that for so long.
Cowboys will not even make the playoffs. They will fade after this fluke start. Cardinals are for real.
1. Cards 12-4
2. Eagles 12-4
3. Packers 10-6
4. Saints 9-7
5. Seahawks 11-5
6. Lions 10-6
I doubt the Eagles will be that good, but the Cardinals are definitely a good team. Having a good defense and an explosive offense leads to great things.
Eagles and Cards went down to the wire @ Phoenix. One of the best played games of the season and Eagles were without
Sproles.
Highly doubtful, unless that offensive line all of the sudden quits football, they will control the line of scrimmage in every game they play. Those guys just straight up whip people and it hides their horrible defense.
Give them 1-1 in two games against philly, wins over the giants, jags, redskins, and then worst case scenario 1-2 in their three games against arizona, chicago, and indy and they are in.
PS this thread being 7 pages shows why the cowboys are america's team. You love em or hate em, no middle ground. Its great as a fan

The NFL is better when the Cowboys are good.
...There's plenty of middle ground.
You can find it in the:
AFC East
AFC North
AFC South
AFC West
NFC North
NFC South
NFC West
St Louis is the last team to beat the Seahawks so they should be the front runner to win the super bowl

A poll I read somewhat recently showed that you are wrong, most people loved or hated them. The Dallas cowboys franchise goes far beyond the NFC east. The other teams don't have as much pull and relevancy so they tend to hate the boys more.

Speaking of beating the Seahawks, the Eagles beat the Rams who beat the Seahawks. The Eagles also beat the Redskins who beat the Cowboys who beat the Seahawks. This should be fun.
and the 1-6 Buccaneers beat the Steelers who beat the Panthers who beat the Bears who beat the 49ers who beat the Cowboys who beat the Seahawks.
Buccaneers therefore are better than the super bowl champs
Nah, this isn't college football.
