High School 6 foot, one half inch, 162 lbs.
Now, at 57, I'm 6 foot, 5/8 inch, 148 lbs..
Run 30 mpw, gave up beer, became vegetarian, lost a few lbs.
College, height topped out at 6 foot 1 1/2 inch. I've shrunk. Competed NCAA Div. 1 at 154 lbs. HIgh school star, college "also ran"

I concur about aging sucks. I'm just a few years younger than you and I weigh ten pounds more than I did when I was in high school...big SIGH!
6'3" - 155 lbs - age 17
6'3.5" - 215 lbs - age 38 - very muscular and lean actually - weights, intervals, MMA training.
at HS graduation:
178cm, 67Kg
and that was 1yr after I started running
now 22yr later, age 40.
Weight has never changed.
In between I trained very hard for few years, but now because of age job family etc run as little as at HS.
HS: 5'8" 140#
today, 30+ years later (yikes!)
5'9", 140#
The rest of the story: avg over most of the period: 145#; at 40, avg bumped to 150 then 155#; maxed 2 years ago at 163# (injured + workaholic). Frickin' metabolism; frickin' aging. Wife bought new pants, new size: 31 inch waist. I went nuts.
Went kinda paleo. No refined flours; no added sugars. Meat. Veggies. Some fruit. Bootcamp.
5k, fyi, back into the 18s (not bad for pushin' 50 y.o., IMO). 3x 40 pushups; 3x 10 pullups; and the abs are coming through at last. All praise bootcamp.

While I don't doubt SOME posters are being... wishful, I also don't doubt that MOST (a self-selected group) are fairly accurate.
That's why I like running; that's why I like runners.
Indeed, I go to a race, hang out, pizza + beer, and everyone looks so... normal.
Then one day I swung by the mall... gad-ZOOKS what has become of America???
