I'd much rather watch the race actually happen on my laptop. I'll walk down to the course when they get to ~21.5 miles to cheer on the leaders. Then I'll go back up to my apartment and catch the finish. Hope Meb's up there that late in the race.

The other big news from the first half of the race was at the start one of the camera men zoomed in on women peeing on the Verrazano bridge.
Remember people if you're going to pee at the start of the NYC Marathon cameras can see you from a quarter or half mile away.
