Not sure where you found that, but here's the link to the roster itself for track and field 2012-13 and he's not on this:

its to bad he wasn't a great fit at Oregon. I think he was young for his age coming over to the states and it likely wasn't the easiest experience for him.

Young for his age? What does that even mean?

It's sad it did not work out for him but no great surprise.

He only won national titles in primary school - he struggled to be competitive at a national level thereafter.

To the best of my knowledge he has NOT run 1.51.

Hopefully he moves on from trying to be Ovett II. He is a smart kid who could/will be successful, just not at running.

Too bad it did not work out, but we should NOT begrudge him...we should NOT begrudge him.

I believe he is moving to London to be personally trained by Lord Coe using the Five Tier/Pace system.

So any news of Freddy Ovett. I know he is back in Auss but is he running???

Oregon has 4:15 walk-ons; Oregon 4:23s on their running club team. However, 4:23 is a decent time for some small conference teams especially with some decent PRs in other events.
