The equation also doesn't differentiate between girls and guys!!! If you really want to get an equation that's worth anything, you need to increase the control of the data

But I rarely ran the 5k when I was in my best shape (i.e. during 100 mpw, in which case I would split ~15:40 during an 8k in cross country)

Hit that mark during the high mileage - yes one of the first races of the fall...ata that funky Landsdowne HS course with the huge hill where you run it diagonally. Someone spray painted "Ted Nugent Live at the Capital Centter" on the wall of the school...good times.
