Did anybody else notice that Jermaine Coore did not run for UNCG at the Queens meet? If he is out then that severely hinders their chances at beating App.

Jcoore isnt out..and will be ready to roll on Saturday but thanks for noticing he didnt run at Queens

Elon- top 5 ranked in top 25 of Socon

Chatt- Top 5 ranked in top 40...Chatt's #3 runner is ranked behind Elon's #5...I am no fool sir

Davidson- Top 5 ranked in top 20

App- Top 5 ranked in top 22

Unfortunately for Elon, several of their guys have not improved or raced since the first meet. I think McGee may be injured. Schneider, Gianni, and Richardson have been bringing it all season, but that's only 3 blokes. Chatt should beat them, but I agree with you that it's not as foolish others are making it out to be. UNCG, App, and Davidson are in the top tier, and then Elon and Chatt are in the next one.

The thing with Chatt is that they can potentially have 2 of the top 3 (possibly top 2) in the conference. Kirwa is the favorite for the win again, and remember Berry was 4th as a freshman and 3rd as a soph. He also killed the others in the indoor 5k last year. If Chatt puts their top 2 up there they can jump some places in the team scoring.

Elon's freshman are getting slower every race. Don't think they can get over 5th place.

Also the times on the Socon website don't mean sh*t. Teams have run at McAlpine. UNCG, Davidson, and Elon also ran at a McAlpine course with the hill taken out. They won't be near those times at conference.

Still I feel App or UNCG will win. Probably App.

Davidson third. Chatt fourth. Elon or Furman 5th. Western 7th. and then...yeah.

So App won again, UNCG looked good but not good enough, Chatt showed up well, Davidson and Elon both blew up.

Just as the predictions stated.

And Kirwa got his third win.

Congratulations to everyone who participated in the 2010 SoCon cross country championships yesterday in Boone, NC. I thought some awesome performances were had by the whole top 6, but in particular, Joey Thompson and Charlie Mcgoogan. Thought they both ran real smart races. Everyone was hating on Charlie especially this week, look like he proved you guys wrong. Should show you guys to doubt people, and especially of all people him. Props to APP state for not getting anyone on first team all conference but still winning. Awesome program.

Hardly. I have a serious question that probably won't be taken seriously but here goes- did Chattanooga even want to win the meet yesterday? They had 5 GUYS FINISH!!!! Why on Gods green earth didn't they have more than 5 guys finish???? Every year they come and pull this stupid $#!t. Did they really have 4 guys drop out of the race? I kind of feel sorry for them, but you can't expect to win when you only have 5 guys finish. What happened to them yesterday?
