For you youngsters, in the 1970s (during the first running boom) the coventional wisdom was that all male athletes including runners should wear athletic supporters, jock straps, or risk injuring their willies.
A Jones Counter is the only acceptable device for certifying the distance of a race course in the US. Now that personal GPS units are common I have heard runners say at certified races that it was well short or too long because their Garmin said so.

Run 14 minute miles.
Keeping my lower half straight,touch my knees-(for the avoidance of any doubt-this is with my finger tips,not my stomach).
Running slowly burns more fat than running quickly.

I have been doing this my entire life. I was taught to breath like this back when I played soccer, so when I transitioned to running years ago, I kept the habit. I always questioned it, but never made an attempt to test mouth breathing. Something new to try out tomorrow.
You need to run more than 100 miles/week to be good
