I have to like the way Jorre Looks right now. Is is a very smooth runner. Even when running XC he would look smooth over the roughest surfaces. He has so little "extra" movement compared to those around him.
Ya, shut your pie hole. The announcers are a bunch of fudge packers, part of the reason we have to watch this on the internet instead of TV.
Does anyone know the 17 in the lead men's pack? Which Americans?
15:13 5k-10k.
Suck It or Sock Hat?
hang in there Brian Sell...I see him about 50 meters back in a group 4 or 5
GO USA
Hall has emphatically removed the arm warmers!
Ryan Hall has ripped off his arm warmers and thrown them off the course. He just got a lot cooler and obv means business now.
I think Meb needs to retire that USA top

Agreed. He looks very relaxed.
Alright, Fasil B. in the chase pack... I hope he does well.
Race will be over before some of those Oprah Winfrey loving 230lb'rs will even be off the first mile bridge.
torres lookes pretty darn....and yes...very relaxed...Go Jorge!
35:03 at 7 mile (2:11 pace, but are running slightly quicker atm)
women have lost one from the lead pack, down to five, she looks like she is fighting to get back up there and stay with them but is slipping back slowly.
I've got Universal open on two screens: one of the men's race, without sound, and one of the men's/women's with the sound.
Not great, but at least I can monitor the men's and switch to the combined coverage when the sound tells me they're paying attention to it.
Jorge is going for it in the front pack. It'll be interesting to see if he bites it. Sell is taking the typical very conservative come from behind approach.
Is that Gharib breaking away?
Whew, the announcers are just making stuff up now. He's the Alpha Male!
