Who the hell is Francis Kiprop and how did he just run 43:15 for the last 15k (20-35k) and is closing the gap on Geb when he is running WR splits?

15 - 0:44:02 - (43:58 - 4 seconds ahead of last year

20 - 0:58:49 -

½ - 1:02:03 - (61:48 - 15 seconds ahead of last year)

25 - 1:13:39 - (1:13:09 - 30 seconds ahead of last year. 29:11 last 10k)

30 - 1:28:27 - (1:17:49 - 38 seconds ahead of last year - last 5k in 14:40)

35 - 1:43:05 - (1:42:37 - 28 seconds ahead of last year - last 5k in 14:48)

40 -1:57:34

Fin - 2:03:59

Geb has slowed down.

If geb runs another 14:48. He'll be at 1:57:25 at 40k which will be just 9 seconds ahead of last year. It will take him 6:29.8 to run the last 2.195 which would give him a final time of 2:03:55.

IT's going to be very, very close. Looks like he may fade and not get it.
