Able-bodied: able to walk easily without aid. Still waiting, Tommy.
Tommy B wrote:Alright OK. But what is your definition of an able-bodied person? Someone who is able to run/walk 100 miles? Haha. Oh no, now you got me! Uhm no. Does not count. But wait, you did not define in the very beginning that there would be restrictions on the type of people. You said the reader's cousin. That encompasses a very wide range of people OK. The obese 500 lb person can run/walk 100 miles???
But, I will cater to your skewed question. I don't even need to go to races that are as far as 100 miles to show you that some people cannot run/walk 100 miles. Check any marathon list. There are some DNFs there. Just check the last Boston marathon. And guess what? DNF means "Did Not Finish". Not everyone finished! And don't go saying 'oh, well in 'such and such' a time, they could have done it". We are not giving them their entire lifetime to traverse 100 miles. Because that is just silly! We don't need to be silly in our friendly conversation OK!!! Have a wonderful day today OK! You earned it with all this typing and thinking ; )
Oh, and I did not call you "silly" because remember...there is no name calling.
Haha OK. You love to argue. Did you not read what I wrote? It's in there. It's hard to discuss something with someone who has no reading comprehension. Go back and read what I wrote. If you don't understand it, get a grownup to help you out. Best of luck OK!!!!!!! You'll get there eventually!!!!
