North Central only loses one from last year. Hird is returning for a 5th year.

Who from Oshkosh fell at nationals last year?
Josh Hoff and Derrick Fameree. They're returning 4 of their top 7, including their number 2,4,5,6.
Mark my words case western reserve will tear up nationals like three 6 mafia tears clubs up (circa 97)
Chaffee ran 342 and got 6th in his prelim heat at USATFs. Taking a year off to train. I don't think he has joined a club yet, but who knows, he may in the future. For now he's just training like a beast and plans to run unattached in a meet or two this fall.
Check Nate Brigham, Tufts. 1:06 or something half marathon.

I heard it was a course with 4000 feet of elevation loss
1:06:56 Philadelphia Distance Run Half 2008
wow impressive!!!
How good was in college? How old is he?
Hmmmmm...check the 5k results. Seems he's been out of school for awhile now.
Fry from Loras is not in school this year. An academic casualty and Dreyer is not running cross. Sulkin should be in the mix individually but team wise I am going to go with Coe.
Tricky Ricky is da truth
So most teams at this point have had their season opening meet, even if it was just an alumni meet or something of the like. What does everyone think. There have been two releases of national rankings, what are everyones views on these?
Also I like that everyone has team pride, but please if your team has three guys on it, do not boast of yourselves being a national contender. Clearly an exageration but you should get the point.
North Central is looking good
Men's Cross Country claim Team Title at Bradley
PEORIA, Ill. (Sep. 11, 2009)-- The top-ranked North Central College men's cross country team continued its early season dominance, winning the Bradley University Open Friday afternoon at Detweiller Park. The team recorded a perfect score of 15 for the second straight week, claiming the top nine individual finishers.
Kyle Brady secured top individual honors, traversing the 8,000 meter course in 24:41. Michael Spain finished two seconds back for the runner-up finish while Nate Hird clocked a 24:55 to secure third place. Ryan Carrigan (4th, 25:01) and Chris Kane (5th, 25:18) rounded out the scoring top five while Joseph McAvoy paced the freshman squad, finishing sixth with a 25:26.
North Central's 15 points easily outpaced second-place and College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin rival Illinois Wesleyan University's 94 points. Division II Lewis University placed third with 106 points while the North Central freshman squad finished fourth among the 12-team field with a score of 110.
They scored the colleges and universities separately. Had they scored them all together, North Central still would have beaten Indiana State 30-45.
UW-Lax is going to win the title.
