Real ones remember Bill Eamick, and this is the best answer on this thread without a doubt. My runner up is 3rd Person Panache
And honorable mention goes to DEATHMATCH, who, as far as I can tell, only posted under that name once, on the giant hole thread. A two-sentence masterpiece
I remember the poster Kilgore back around the early to late 2000s. Does anyone else remember this guy?! I have been lurking on these boards for approaching 22 years now.
Antonio Cabral, very knowledgeable Portuguese running expert and solid runner himself (I think around 8:30/3000). What happened to this guy? He's missed by many, no doubt.
Oh please. Antonio Cabral was probably the biggest fraud to have ever posted on LetsRun. He claimed to have run 3'39" for 1500m and to have coached Portuguese Olympians (can be confirmed on these boards) among so many other ridiculous claims when in the real world he never broke 35 mins for 10k and he was such a notoriously bad coach that he was completely avoided by any serious distance runner in Portugal (confirmed by a Portuguese poster on LetsRun). In the English language online running community he managed to fool some people by just writing a lot about training even when what he wrote did not make much sense. However, he was ultimately outed for his constant lying.
And now you are just trying to perpetuate more lies about the guy to make him sound "impressive" - do you have a source for this "8:30/3000m" you "think" he ran? Because he was never within a minute of that sort of time.
I guess if he did start posting again it would be amusing to see him get ridiculed for a while and it would take some of the heat of coach JS.

Hmm, I heard rumours about that, unverified, but I believe he still coaches runners in Portugal, so maybe some are satisfied? Just saying....
I saw something about his team a few months ago....
Ok, let's at least concede that Cabral has knowledge and capacity as a coach... whichever the case ..
